Bio

Barbie's family is the image of perfection. Her mom is blonde with blue eyes and is a former beauty pageant queen and still judges competitions. Her father is also blonde with blue eyes and is a wealthy and well renown plastic surgeon and actor. Both were attracted to each other's good looks and fame. They got married quickly at a young age. Soon afterwords Barbie's mother was pregnant with her older sister, Kelly. The unplanned baby was beautiful and her parent's started putting her in commercials. Soon she got an acting job and became a big childhood star. As she grew up she was able to still be famous and successful. At age 18 she had won several awards, dated famous celebrities and had her own talk show. The parents soon became more famous and got more jobs. Hoping to get more fame they decided to have a second child purposely. The mother became pregnant and all 3 family members rejoiced, knowing this child would become a media buzz. And she did. A reality show was made that filmed the family as they planned for the new arrival and went through their lives. It became a big success! The child was named Barbie after an episode where they decorated her room and filled it with Barbie toys that they said "would look just like her in a few years." The day came. Barbie was born. But... she didn't look like Barbie. She had dark brown hair and brown eyes (apparently her dad's great-great-great grandfather had brown hair and brown eyes) and was very overweight for a child her age. But she was innocent and cute so the world loved her. The show was made for four more years now focusing on Barbie growing up. Barbie grew up in the cameras being treated like a princess. She played with her barbies and wished to be just like them. But it soon became clear she wouldn't. Her dark brown hair grew darker and she became fatter especially her gut. People started to like her less as she started to get chubbier. Soon the show was dropped and Barbie was not able to get anymore publicity as no one wanted her because of her new weight. At age 6 when she could only get her family bad publicity, she was no longer treated like a princess and now was a regret. Its then Barbie learned her family were fame mongers. But life still looked down on Barbie. She became even heavier and paler than Barbie crushing her dream forever. Her peers made fun of her irony and her appearance and those who know who she was made fun of her for being the black sheep in the family. Barbie soon grew depressed and started to hate everything; her school, her parents, her life, the world and most of all... herself. Barbie soon decided to stop being the sweet princess and be the ugly stepsister she was. She became very silent and antisocial and soon goth. She has become very heavy and is constantly tormented at school and home and has no friends. Barbie just sighs and acts like she doesn't care. But inside she is depressed and sometimes she cries her eyes out. One day, when her family was at award show for Kelly (without her) they were asked by a reporter where she was. Barbie had been out of the spotlight so long almost everyone forgot her. Soon the whole world became fascinated by where Barbie was and that she had become goth. Specials about her and her family were run about her change through life, mocking her appearance. This media fascination only caused more regret and hate from her family and more bullying at school. Except those who tried to mooch off her fame. The family didn't know what to do until they heard of Total Drama. Hearing it was coming back after a long hiatus and knew how the contestants all received tons of fame. They decided to contact a staff member and get Barbie on there. The young staff member didn't want to put Barbie through that but her boss forced her to sign up Barbie, hoping they could use Barbie to get a lot of attention. Her family hoped she would do well or even win and become famous like other contestants and everyone would love her so she could become a "member" of the family. They would force her to stop being goth. And she would dye her hair blond and become a new fat teen star! Barbie hated the plan but had no control in her life. They started treating her like a princess again but Barbie would not be lied to again. Barbie's goal is to do nothing or say nothing so she will not be liked and voted off, letting her avoid the "fame" her parents now want her to embrace.

• Its implied her parents rushed into the marriage and never wanted a child originally.
• Her sister's name being Kelly is a reference to the doll Barbie's little sister Kelly. My mom and sister own a lot so thats what inspired me to name her Kelly.
