One of the things I love about your characters is that they can often feel very accurate and real, like they have their own lives and fleshed out background, or feel like someone I could meet. This is feels especially true for a lot of these new characters.
Like, I know a few different people who are Kelsey. Like I know Kelsey! This over achiever who sees like they can do it all effortlessly...and is not so secretly dying inside. The label is pefect for this type of character too. So I'm excited for her and interested to see how she does. Ahhh, I'm really glad you like her! It's great to hear that she/some of the others feel accurate and real, since that's kind of what I'm going for with this story - sure, there'll be a couple caricatures (look at Boris), but I tried to give Kelsey a believable backstory, and I think that was especially helped by the fact that she reminds me a LOT of people I went to high school with. Not surprised you know some Kelsey-types too lol, they're everywhere - some of the events in her bio were consciously inspired by a couple good friends' "problems," if you will.
