If you don't get Chapter 2 done, I'm going to die. Anyways, it was a great chapter. I enjoyed Chris the most, to be honest. Owen seems a lot more sane in this fanfiction than in the series, which is a relief. Kevin may be my favorite so far, because he just seems interesting to me (sort of like a Geoff-Trent mix or something). Anyways, keep up the great work, Kg. --TDIFan13 (My Talk and My Contributions!) 05:59, May 15, 2010 (UTC)

Awesome chapter. Lindsay was great throughout it. I was laughing in the beginning with Edward Cullen. I didn't expect Izzy to go home, but the way she did was also funny. Nice job Kg, looking forward for more chappies! Webkinz Mania (talk) 11:46, May 24, 2010 (UTC)

Loved Chapter 7! I especially loved the elimination. While I was unhappy at Sadie's elimination, the "230 pound deadweight" really made me laugh. Sadie and Katie's separation was sad, but I really loved their lines, too. "Do I have a choice?" was such a Sadie thing to say. And, well, I also loved the cherry popcorn. The challenge was good, as well, but somewhat hard to read (maybe it's just because I'm an idiot when it comes to dodgeball). Nevertheless, awesome chapter, keep up the good work. --TDIFan13 (My Talk and My Contributions!) 20:30, June 20, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks! I didn't really know how to write the challenge section. I'll admit, it's hard to follow.   Kgman04    talk    contribs

Did anyone notice the elimination pattern goes boy, girl, boy, girl, boy, girl.

I've seen this being updated occasionally, but this was the first time I've actually checked it out. And, before I start commenting, I'm a little sad that Noah is the one replaced. That seems to be a trend on stories like this, which is a shame. Anyway, to get back on track, I'd like to say that your story is very enjoyable. While reading the first chapter, I laughed a few times (a chuckle here and there), and I liked how you seem to be portraying the characters accurately. I'll write more later. Nice job! UltimateTORINORAnd the quest for the Ultimate continues... 13:14, July 12, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks! Sorry about the whole Noah thing; I created the fanfiction before Total Drama World Tour, which is when I realized how great Noah is. Again, thanks for the positive feedback. :)   Kgman04    talk    contribs

I haven't commented on the last three chapters; so I will. Chapter 8 was hilarious. The challenge was interesting, and original. I felt like it was focused on Gwen, which was good, since you write her really well. Ezekiel's elimination saddened me, especially since I like him better in this fanfiction. Chapter 9 was funny from the beginning. For some reason, I didn't like it as much as Chapter 8, but that doesn't mean it was bad...I got some vibe from it. Anyways, it was funny, especially Heather and Lindsay, and Beth and Geoff's so-called cooperation. Chapter 10 was short (not as short as Chapter 9, from what I can remember, though), but I still enjoyed it. I'm glad Katie got eliminated; not because I didn't like her, but at least now she can be with Sadie. One side-note; for some reason, I don't see too much focus on Kevin. It's weird, I wonder if he's just got little lines, or...maybe you're not trying to focus on him too much since he's your character, but I swear, for like a minute I forgot he was even in the fanfiction. XD Besides the Kevin thing, I think your last three chapters were perfect, as always. Keep up the awesome work. I do look forward to reading more. :D --TDIFan13 (My Talk and My Contributions!) 03:31, July 14, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, I don't want it to seem like I focus on him too much. And, yes, those last two chapters were a bit short. I typed them on my iPod, and it seemed so long there. I didn't know what to do with Ezekiel besides add "eh" at the end of every sentence, so I had to let him go.   Kgman04    talk    contribs

Nooooooooooooo! Gwen! She could've voted off Courtney with Kevin and LeShawna, not quit! Gah...I hate Courtney and her blackmail. Gwen was an awesome character. I didn't want her or LeShawna to go, but...I guess it's what builds up the drama, right? Awesome challenge. I hope I'm not being bias by saying this, but I really hope I see more Heather in future chapters. She had like, two lines in this one. Only one that I can remember, "Horribly" or "Horrible" or something. Anyways, keep up the great work. --TDIFan13 (My Talk and My Contributions!) 05:39, July 27, 2010 (UTC)

Don't worry, you're not being biased. I noticed that I seem to be making Courtney a lot more antagonistic than Heather. But, her time will come. {  Kgman04    talk    contribs

I stand corrected; Chapter 15 was Heather-tastic. I loved it. I thought I'd get bored of reading it since it was a non-elimination, but I read it 'til the end!! ^_^ Awesome chapter. Beth's gonna get jumped for not choosing Heather to go with her. --TDIFan13 (My Talk and My Contributions!) 05:54, July 27, 2010 (UTC)

Yay! Glad you like it!   Kgman04    talk    contribs

I started reading this fairly recently, and I've only got through chapter 7, but I like this story and I will definitely be sticking with it. I like the situations, the character development, and, of course, the narrative detail. Not that I expected anything less from you--your comments on Legacy's talk page suggest that you and I have similar ideas as to what constitutes good writing. Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Thanks! I'm not too proud of my first several chapters... but I think my writing improves by Chapter 8.   Kgman04    talk    contribs

I like this fanfic! But in the most recent chapter, when Chris passed out marshmallows, he gave one to Courtney instead of Heather. Great chapter! Tdi Hi I isn't Alejandro 03:30, July 31, 2010 (UTC)

Oh, whoops. o_o Thanks for pointing that out, I fixed it.   Kgman04    talk    contribs

I suggest you change your chapter headings from Heading 2 style (===Title===) to Heading 1 style (==Title==). Making this change should generate a Table of Contents at the top of the page, which would make it easier for readers to find the chapter they want. Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Sing me your song, O! A wandering minstrel, I-- 04:06, August 2, 2010 (UTC)

There was a table of contents, but I purposely removed it, since it would make the format of the fanfiction summary a bit wacky. I'll put the template of episodes at the bottom to the top, if that helps.   Kgman04    talk    contribs

Okay, I totally didn't notice this before, but I just eliminated five Screaming Gophers in a row. The Curse of the Mummified Dog spreads into fanfictions too. :-/   Kgman04    talk    contribs

I recently started reading this story, and I must say that I really like it. Great job on it. :) You have a great sense of humor in the story, for there were many, many moments where I have laughed so far. BocaJ is Here! I decided to ditch the month signatures... Because I did! 23:49, August 6, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks! It always feels great to have another reader. Glad you're enjoying the story!   Kgman04    talk    contribs

I'm just done with chaper one, but I loved it. Beth being called short was funny in an ironic way. Katie and Sadie's blue shorts were funny. Anyway, great job. I look forward to reading more. SprinklemistCyan is the new green. 04:00, August 7, 2010 (UTC)

I like writing as Chris and Beth, just because I can pretty much do whatever I want as Chris, and because Beth's just such a desperate person. Although, her character isn't too much like her TDI character, I added a bit of my own flare into her.   Kgman04    talk    contribs

"Hide and Shriek"; awesome title, if I may say so myself. Izzy's awesome, I'm glad she returned. I just hope her "Professional Manhunter" status doesn't lead her to kill anyone. Actually, I think the only one willing to kill someone at this point besides Izzy would be Heather. I'd be ticked off, too. Poor Trent...so lonely without Gwen. Beth standing up to her was...wow. I'm happy that she stayed cool, though...it is the truth. LeShawna's alliance was smart. Ew, brown paintballs. So Chef, though. "LeShallow" - that made me laugh, for some reason. So did Izzy's agent number. Beth quit Heather's alliance; ouch. Worse part is; she voted with LeShawna. Poor Heather. I'm kind of glad Courtney left, but now Heather's alliance is outnumbered. Anyways, great chapter. --TDIFan13 (My Talk and My Contributions!) 17:41, August 8, 2010 (UTC)

Really? I thought that title sucked, but then again, the author's always the biggest critic. I'm glad Izzy's back too; it's fun writing her. Same with Trent. Beth was just kinda being mean without trying to. I also liked how LeShawna's alliance split up to get alliance members. I had no idea of why I chose brown, probably because it's my IRC color. Beth pretty much went *snapsnapsnap* on Heather. :P Courtney had to go soon, since she can't over-antagonize Heather, if you get what I'm saying.   Kgman04    talk    contribs

"Skii You Later!", also awesome. How haven't these been used? Verbal fight at the beginning of the episode. I guess they really hate each other (mainly Heather and Beth). Wow, it's slightly ironic that Lindsay was the one to correct Heather on Tyler's name. Poor Trent - again. Oh my Gosh, I can't explain how well you write Izzy. I always laugh at her lines. Awww, Trent's even lost his musical talent ("runth? funth? lunth? millionth?") Lindsay's hilarious, too. To think, earlier on the episode she was correcting Tyler's name, and now she can't figure out which way is left. Wow, Heather and Beth's confrontation was heavy. I laughed at the "You need to look at plastic?" part, as well as what DJ wanted to do to her. I also loved how Chris added "Heather, not cool!". Sooo him. Kevin and Izzy is cute, but I thought he'd go for LeShawna. Nooooo! LeShawna left! Whhhy?! Well-played, but whhhy?! Great chapter. --TDIFan13 (My Talk and My Contributions!) 17:58, August 8, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, I was kind of planning on making that a running gag, having Lindsay be the one to get Tyler's name right. In fact, she gets it right a little too much. Again, I love writing Izzy, since all I have to do is be super-weird (which isn't too hard). I just looked up "words that don't have any rhymes" on Google. Lindsay's a special person, it's just fun to see how far I can stretch Lindsay's stupidity. Beth and Heather is pretty much as tense as it gets. Chris is probably the hardest character for me to write, I think I make him too nice. And, yes, it was LeShawna's time. :(   Kgman04    talk    contribs

Wow. Tyler going all boot-camp on the guys was weird. :P And so were Lindsay's bag problem. Weird, in a funny way. XD at Tyler not liking explosions. Heather seems to be getting colder by the day, referring to her sarcastic remark about not feeling accomplished for making it to the final nine. I'm glad that Kevin and Izzy won invincibility, but...Trent? He's such a whiner. Whatever, I guess. He's healed, sort of. Awww, poor Tyler; so excluded from the guys. Oh my Gosh, a tie! Izzy spiced it up! *gasp* Snap. Heather's cold, faking the fall. Great chapter. I'll read Chapter 19 tomorrow. Promise. I can't wait to see who gets the boot. --TDIFan13 (My Talk and My Contributions!) 18:11, August 8, 2010 (UTC)

Tyler's such a fail jock, he's turning into a fail-er football coach. Lindsay's such a stresser, it's just funny to think of small things that she considers tragic. Heather's second-hardest to write, just because she's so unpredictable. Not too sure about why I chose those groups, but, I guess what happened happened. Yes, it took me four chapts to realize Tyler was surrounded by girls, and not in the good way. I felt that it was such a Heather thing to do, even though it kind of reminded me of Alejandro (o.o).   Kgman04    talk    contribs

I'm starting to read this. I don't like it... I don't hate it, either. I love it, and I only read two chapters! Anyways, I loved the Katie & Sadie 'blue shorts' line. And, I loved those songs. I think I found out the tune. Anyways, great chapters. I'll probably read more today, but probably won't. I'll probably read two chapters everyday minus Saturday. Anyways, epic job, Kg. :) --Dr. TotaldramamanYou want an appointment? Then talk to me. 20:20, August 8, 2010 (UTC)

Wow, really? Thanks!   Kgman04    talk    contribs

I recently read up to the latest chapter, and I honestly can say that the story is very engaging. Heather is still my favorite, and I also like Lindsay. You are doing an amazing job with the comedy, and the challenges are neat too, as your new challenges are very creative, while you bring back some of my favorite challenges from TDI. I enjoy the story very much so far, and I cannot wait for the next chapter! :) BocaJ is Here! I decided to ditch the month signatures... Because I did! 19:58, August 10, 2010 (UTC)

So sorry about the delay, chapters 21 and 22 will both be up tomorrow night. Swearsies!   Kgman04    talk    contribs

Aw. I'm only on chapter 3. XD I was so glad that Duncan was out first. 8D SprinklemistCyan is the new green. 13:50, August 15, 2010 (UTC)

Well, I was hesitant about eliminating him first, but I have trouble writing him, and I felt a few people would enjoy Duncan not being a screenhog. Or, chapter-hog. :P   Kgman04    talk    contribs

Nice job on the latest two chapters. The story is quite hilarious. I'm glad Heather's still in it. Go Heather! Sad about Izzy, not really that sad about Beth. I guess it was Izzy's time though. I think either Tyler or Harold will be leaving next. My only critism... IDK. The Mario Party chapter was a little bit too long for my tastes, but even that doesn't matter. I look forward to the next chapter. Once again, go Heather! BocaJ is Here! I decided to ditch the month signatures... Because I did! 18:31, August 17, 2010 (UTC)

Sorry about that, I made Chapter 20 huge. Thanks for the feedback!   Kgman04    talk    contribs

"Disgust or Bust" was a great challenge. I know you didn't think of it, but it was a much better episode than TDI's. For some reason, I didn't really love it as much as the last chapter, since I felt like it didn't have that vibe to it. Fortunately, it was still an amazing chapter, even if that "NOTE: Similar to Chapter 13's second challenge, all of these actions are going on at the same time, the groups are just being addressed individually." thing is going to drive me insane for the next fifteen years or so. Chapter 20 was awesome. Long, but awesome. The challenge was amazing, and I loved it 'til the very end (am I a bad person for being happy at Beth's elimination?). Creative challenge, and I loved the Twilight reference, despite my hatred for the book and the movie itself. Chapter 21 was a seriously sad chapter, but the challenge was really fun, and I like how Chris put the contestants' lives at risk again (and their social lives, too. Runaways and Harold do not mix)! I can't believe LeShawna, though. She eliminated Heather over Izzy? I know it would be what the real LeShawna would do, but...man, what kind of karma is she expecting for Heather? Anyway, I'd have rather had Izzy gone over Heather, but I would still have liked to see her make it further. I liked seeing LeShawna again, nevertheless, I think she's a good judge. Chapter 22 was...die-able. I'm going to really miss Kevin. I would have hoped that he would have at least made it to the final four instead of being cheap-ly eliminated. Whatever, he's gonna win next season or I'll light a breadstick on fire. Well, with only five - I mean, four competitors left, I'd really like to see Lindsay or Harold in the final two. Or even Heather. If Heather gets eliminated next, then Lindsay and Harold should morally be the final two (but you're just full of surprises :p). And if Tyler gets eliminated next, I have no idea who the final two will be. But if Tyler's eliminated, then I really don't care. Heather, Lindsay (not so much), and Harold are all awesome characters, so the winner will more than likely satisfy me. Great chapters, Chapter 22 was extremely sad, but...good. Anyways, keep 'em coming! --TDIFan13 (My Talk and My Contributions!) 03:27, August 19, 2010 (UTC)

I agree, Disgust or Bust isn't exactly one of my best. And, yes, that note irks me, but I don't really know how to make a reader aware. Chapter 20 was a hell of a lot to write, but I guess it paid off. LeShawna's got a hunch, and it may or may not come true. Maybe she lost her chance to eliminate Heather...? Or will that be the best decision of her life? Hmm, I actually thought that Kevin's elimination would be predictable (LeShawna's my favorite character and she ranked fifth, so, I ranked my character fifth. :P). Next season, I'm afraid won't be too good, I just have a weird feeling about it. The final two will shock you. Well, maybe not. But, it's a nice one. Thanks for the feedback!   Kgman04    talk    contribs

Awesoem chapters Kg. I guess Kevin's elimination was kind of predictable, but I assumed when they knew they were voting someone off they would all vote Heather off. Oh well. Kee p writing, hope you write one for Total Drama Action. Higgnkfe 17:51, August 19, 2010 (UTC)higgnkfe

Nooooooooooooo! Heather! You monster, you killed her hair! *cries* Anyways, great chapter. I really liked the whole sports theme, it reminded me of Million Dollar Babies. It may be my favorite chapter up-to-date, actually. There were a lot of funny lines, too, such as Lindsay's "we got 150 points, Tyler!" and Tyler's "cough drop" line. I really liked the chapter, but I'm sad Heather got eliminated. --TDIFan13 (My Talk and My Contributions!) 23:09, August 28, 2010 (UTC)

Well, Heather had to get what she had coming in some way, and after ten minutes hours of long thinking, I thought that would be the best way, as unoriginal as it is.   Kgman04    talk    contribs

Well, I'm catching up, having just finished Chapter 20. Nicely done all round, Kgman, but I do have a technical quibble. In the mini-game where inadequately nimble campers receive electric shocks, "electrocuted" isn't really the word you want because it implies lethal effect. The word "electrocuted" is a mashup of "electric" and "executed", and entered the language with the invention of the electric chair. Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Sing me your song, O! Yeah, I was wondering "why did Kevin change everything to zapped?" and then I saw this. XD Anyways, loved chapter 25. I can't wait for the winner-chapter and the special. ^_^ Go Lindsay! --TDIFan13 (My Talk and My Contributions!) 19:32, August 30, 2010 (UTC)

Oh my Gosh! That was so dramatic. I can't wait for the special. The intro was brilliant. I loved Harold's first confessional of the episode. So was Lindsay's "ounces" confessional. Heather's line about Gwen and LeShawna's hair was hilarious, especially since she's so right about having better hair than them. For some reason, I kind of wished Heather kept the black eye. Maybe it hit some nerve and would be there for a few years. :p
I love how Eva actually played an important role in the episode. It seems to me like in every fanfiction she's one of the first five contestants eliminated, then she barely talks for the rest of the series (similar to the actual Eva). And I love the line about her Grandma's leg. Kevin's comment to that was even funnier. I wanna know what Izzy's fourth meal is! Brunch? *gasp* It's getting dramatic...who's gonna win...this is the one-hundred thousand dollar winner...and...it's...
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! (One hundred o's. Count 'em.)
Harold?! Ick. I guess he's not so bad, aside from the fact that winners should usually never resort to sabotaging a fellow competitor. Then again, it was Heather. I guess she had it coming. Anyway, I can't say I'm thoroughly disappointed. Although I was rooting for Lindsay, I suppose I should take into consideration what Harold's been through and how he's been treated and all. Needless to say, I guess he almost deserves the money. Wait, no special? Season two's being announced now? Oh, my Gosh, no! You write Katie and Sadie so well! And Kevin isn't returning? Man, that sucks. I hope he debuts or something, but you may be cautious that doing so will make you seem sort of centered on your character. Nevertheless, I could personally guarantee that Kevin would have been and would still be a fine addition to the cast.
I personally agree with him. How is he, of all people, not a fan-favorite? He's the most normal and relatable out of all of them! *sigh* Well, anyway, the season overall was fantastic. I hope I'm not being too harsh when I say this, but in "percentage terms", I'd give it a 96% overall. I have to deduct at least some points because not everyone has perfect dialogue, even though yours was almost near perfect. And while I'd really like to have seen a special, I think you ended it well. Now that TDI...?'s done, maybe you can focus on some other things (such as updating the Izzy page!). Haha, alright, great season, Kg. It was enjoyable to read.

--TDIFan13 (My Talk and My Contributions!) 05:57, September 2, 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for all of the feedback, Ryan, throughout the entire fanfiction. And, yes, Harold won. I felt like Lindsay winning would be a bnit predictable, also, you're right, he sort of deserves it out of all he's been through. Lindsay got to the final two for riding on alliances and not being a threat. A 96% is more than good enough for me. xD   Kgman04    talk    contribs

Aww..., Harold won! I was rooting for Lindsay. Anyways, no special? D: Or will there be one at Harold's house? Lastly, I think Kevin's gonna return... Like Courtney... ;) --mtdm doz knot no hoe 2 spill 15:53, September 2, 2010 (UTC)

Nope, no TDDDDI equivalent, only because I think it'd be too much to write, and since I have school coming up, it'd take even longer. Hmmm, maybe he will.   Kgman04    talk    contribs

Just finished the fashion show chapter. I noted with interest Izzy's method of departure, as it is similar to something I have planned for my own TDI reimagining. Great minds think alike, eh? Wow, that's a funny coincidence. :P, I was just thinking of the weirdest way for Izzy to leave the competition, and that seemed the most sensible. Well, what Izzy considers sensible.   Kgman04    talk    contribs

LOL! The first scene image says "Chris introduces the season with a season." it used to be smile, how weird is that!? LOL! --mtdm doz knot no hoe 2 spill 19:49, September 3, 2010 (UTC)

Oh, whoops. xD Sorry about that, I just finished writing Chapter 1 of TDA...? and Chris kept saying "season", so when I got rid of the episode templates here, it kinda rubbed off on here.   Kgman04    talk    contribs

Just finished the sports chapter. Whilst reading about the volleyball match, I had an idea for a good Tyler joke: Instead of doing nothing in order to sabotage Heather, he should have tried to deliberately hit the ball out of bounds; but because he so utterly sucks at every athletic endeavor he attempts (due to his lack of coordination) he misjudges his hits and ends up playing effectively in spite of himself. (Much like how Gwen tried, and failed, to puke in the canon version of "The Chefshank Redemption", or how D.J. was trying and failing to lose in TDWT.) Tyler and Heather might have lost the match anyway, but that wouldn't have diminished the joke. It might also have provided fodder for Harold-Tyler conflict, with Harold having to be convinced that Tyler really did try to sabotage Heather. Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Sing me your song, O! A wandering minstrel, I-- 23:41, September 5, 2010 (UTC)

I was actually thinking of using that, but I wasn't able to express the joke clearly enough, and it seemed like I was suddenly making Tyler a great volleyball player who was allied with Heather, instead of someone who was failing at trying to sabotage her.   Kgman04    talk    contribs
You would probably have had to use narrative description and/or confessional spots to let the reader in on the joke. (In a confessional spot, Tyler might well have surmised that he was so awesome that he couldn't fail even when he tried.) Anyway, this is yet more evidence that we tend to think alike, which is undoubtedly part of the reason we enjoy each others' stories. Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Sing me your song, O! I finished it today, and it was great. My only qualm is that DJ was kind of OOC at times. I don't think that the DJ in the show would trick Tyler like that.

Yeah, early on I was planning to make a few personalities different, with DJ's being a bit more cruel. Eventually, that idea pretty much left my mind, which is why that seems really weird and OOC. Thanks for reading, though! ~ Kgman04! Talk! Contribs! 19:07, August 3, 2011 (UTC)

You know, I think what I like about this fic is the stratgey. Feels like a cross between Survivor and TDI.

is this coming back soon??
