Yet again, the season’s winner – Cameron – was left in the dust while runner-up Lightning, reviled redneck Scott, jockette Jo, multiple personality Mike, sergeant Brick, sassy Anne Maria, and moonchild Dawn were all in the running. Once again, in an eerie repeat of the original blog, the season’s winner, Duncan, was left out due to not being nominated. Last time, on the blog for Total Drama Island, 7 nominees battled it out for one of the first three spots in the Total Drama Wiki's Hall of Fame; the entire TDI Final 8, minus, ironically, the winner of the season, Owen. Although main antagonist Heather held the lead early on, she was soon surpassed in a surprise upset by runner-up and her archrival Gwen, who went on to win a shocking landslide vote and take 10 of the 21 total votes cast, thus winning the title of Player of the Season.
