Here's how it goes:
I start by posting a word that starts with A.
You post a word with the letter after that relates to the word above. So, for example:
Apples
Bananas
Carrots
Dates
Apples = Fruit
Banana = Fruit
Carrots = Food, which like a fruit, can be eaten.
Dates = Food
Everything must be related in some way. You cannot say:
Apples
Braids :)
Because braids are made of the same molecular structure as Apples. Nope<3
