Total Drama Wiki's Hall of Fame - Total Drama All-Stars

Welcome back, one and all, to the Total Drama Wiki’s Hall of Fame – Total Drama All-Stars!

Last time, on the blog for Total Drama: Revenge of the Island: The highest amount of nominees since TDI battled it out for the Hall of Fame, with 7 contestants in the running. Yet again, the season’s winner – Cameron – was left in the dust while runner-up Lightning, reviled redneck Scott, jockette Jo, multiple personality Mike, sergeant Brick, sassy Anne Maria, and moonchild Dawn were all in the running. Lightning held an early lead right out of the starting gate, but was soon surpassed by his nemesis-whose-gender-he-could-never-get-right Jo, who went on to maintain one of the strongest leads in Hall of Fame history. Although main antagonist Scott gave it his all, Jersey Shore Reject Anne Maria was right on his tail throughout most of the contest, with the vote difference between second place, third place, and just below third place – for the FOURTH CONSECUTIVE TIME – just one vote each. In the end, Lightning narrowly clinched second place with 7 votes, and Scott came in wedged between Lightning’s 7 and Anne Maria’s 5 with 6 votes. And, for the first time since TDI, there were TWO contestants who received votes, but not enough; Anne Maria and loyal cadet Brick, who garnered only one vote from an equally undyingly loyal fan. The star of the season’s dramatic focus, Mike, and the mysterious Dawn were the two losers of the contest, once again fulfilling the tradition of two contestants walking away with 0 votes.

Now, from Sunday, January 5, 2014, until Wednesday, January 8, users with 25 MainSpace edits or more will be allowed to nominate any character they choose. This character will be added to a poll where people with 50 MainSpace edits or more will then subsequently vote. The blog will briefly be closed to arrange the voting period. Then, from Wednesday, January 8, to Saturday, January 11, people will get to vote on which characters they want to see inducted into the TD Wiki Hall of Fame for that respective season. The person who comes in first in the poll will also be declared “Player of the Season.”

IMPORTANT: KEEP IN MIND. This process is acknowledging the contestants as COMPETITORS, not CHARACTERS. We are NOT talking about who was the most developed, most focused, most dramatic person. We are talking about who played the game the best. Who made the best strategic moves, did well in challenges, made alliances, etc., etc. When nominating and voting for characters, choose who you think played the best game. This is acknowledging the main aspect of Total Drama: The competition. The game. The way it is played.

This is the fifth blog in the series, and thus, will focus on the fifth season: Total Drama All-Stars. Thus, you can nominate/vote for any of the 14 contestants.

RULES: IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ

Rule #1: You must have 25 MainSpace edits or more in order to nominate a character. To check your edit count, go either here for your edit count on this wiki, or here for your edit count on the reference wiki.

Rule #2: You must have 50 MainSpace edits or more in order to vote for a character in the poll.

Rule #3: You can only nominate/vote for any of the 14 contestants who competed in Total Drama All-Stars.

Rule #4: When nominating a character, you must explain why you think they are worthy of being in the Hall of Fame. You must include an explanation of how they were a good player, and cite some clear examples from the season, whether they be challenge performances, alliances formed, etc. BUT if you merely state, “he was a good player, lol,” or “she was so developed and smart and friendly and sweet, lol,” OR if your nomination is built on a speculative, unsupported statement such as “Oh, well, she WOULD have gone far if it weren’t for her elimination,” then your nomination will be DISREGARDED. Subsequently, you may also make your arguments in your vote for the character you choose.

Rule #5: You can nominate one character AND ONE CHARACTER ONLY, and you can vote for one character AND ONE CHARACTER ONLY.

Rule #6: NO TROLLING. If ANY trolling is detected in this blog, you will face severe punishment, including warnings a blocking of your participation in this season’s blog, and (possibly) future seasons’ blogs. Even if you don’t intend to troll and want to just make an innocent joke, please refrain from doing so.

Rule #7: Check other comments first to see if someone already nominated the character of your choice. That way, instead of making a repeat nomination, you can instead nominate someone else.

I think the three inductees for this season should be Gwen, Scott, and Zoey. And I know I’m gonna catch some serious crap from my die-hard anti-Zoey friends for this…but I nominate Zoey. In all seriousness, though: In EVERY SINGLE CHALLENGE WIN for the Heroic Hamsters, Zoey played some role in winning the challenge for them, whether it was by herself (Evil Dread) or alongside Mike (Leechball and Spanish Opposition), and also won three individual immunity challenges in a row. And, of course, she managed to make it to the final two. And all of this was, miraculously, done without any godplaying on her part.
