Seeing the other ranking blogs out there, I decided to make one too. I've done other rankings before but here's a big blog to hold them all in. I hope to update this with more stories as I catch up on them.

Total Drama: Superstar Showdown[]

Finished

23. Devin- I could barely understand him and he wore out his welcome rather quickly. He was a good choice for early out.

22. Trick- It’s been a bit since the last time I read TD:SS, but I can’t remember too much about Trick. I remember he planned on backstabbing and making alliances but it didn’t pan out. I think I didn’t like him and he was kind of a jerk. The only redeeming factor? Tricklen <3

21. PJ- As much as I love PJ, she was pretty unmemorable and was early canon fodder. Oh well, she was still very PJ till the end.

20. Mackenzie- She didn’t do much, but her and the other ‘boring girls’ friendship was funny and cute, and I like Roz’s joke about her at the end of her elimination. Her snark at the end of the second to last chapter was great. But she can’t compete with most everyone else on this list.

19. Ori- Yeah, Ori was more enjoyable originally, so his personality shift was disappointing and his eagerness to prove to Devin how thug he was feels almost out of character. Luckily, he reverted back to his old and that along with Darryl has bumped him up a little bit.

18. Tolkien- Tolkien didn’t last too long but he was likable. I feel like his thing with Roz isn’t very clear either, which is kind of sad.

17. Alex- Alex wasn’t very important or focused on that much, but he had a likable charm to him and was pretty funny. (I also ship him and Layla, sue me :p)

16. Gary- I don’t dislike Gary by any means, and he was very funny in the fast food episode, but I like everybody else more and have been with them longer and or have a better feel for them. Ultimately, Gary had a few funny moments but he just can't compete 'popularity wise' with the other mergers.

15. Kavren- Kavren’s friendship with Arthur was very funny to me and Kavren was a much more funny, balanced character this time around. I was kind of surprised to see him go so early and a little sad but I think it worked and let other characters gain focus.

14. Chrissy- I was enjoying Chrissy as a hipster and how Nic kept hitting on her; it was a very funny and enjoyable interaction. She didn’t do much a lot though, and I will admit her elimination was a bit rushed too.

13. Elena- Elena was a hilarious butt monkey. Between her failing or her and Chelsey’s constant squabbles, she made me laugh. She was a love to hate character in a really fun way.

12. Estrella- Estrella’s been funny and her friendship with Chrissy and Helga was enjoyable, and she's still lovably creepy and snarky. Her interactions with Nic are a hoot as well. I really do like how she changed as a character as well, which was done well.

11. Helga- I really like Helga. She’s been funny often with her snark and has had good interactions. Particularly her romance with Wolfgang (their shipping name is SchnitzelShipping btw). I’m tempted to put her higher, but her elimination wasn’t done so well in my opinion, so she gets a little lower on the list.

10. Puck- Puck was still a hoot here, even without Casey. He may have even been funnier. I was a bit worried he and Wolfgang’s routine would get old, but it never really did. And he really fit it well with the rest of these misfits. I also feel his elimination was done perfectly; a good amount focus, a nice sendoff and it allowed other characters to grow and have the spotlight.

9. Veronica- I’m really glad Toad choose her, because she’s been really expanded upon and more importantly, became even funnier than original. Her being Layla’s ‘Charles’ was hysterical and her almost ‘butt monkey’ status makes her lovable. She gets a bad lot often but still tries. Her ending elimination was a nice twist, and I felt she left well developed, displaying true personality (also are her and Nic canon now :D?).

8. Trey- Trey’s loser mentality is funny at his own expense. Being the constant butt of jokes and never doing much right is just funny. I also enjoy when he’s trying to be strategic, particularly when his plan of pretending to be gay to get close to Chelsey and the back fire of that is hilarious. Him defeating Nic constantly is also proving to be interesting. He's also just so hysterically fake xD He had a great villain defeat and I like the potential he had for possibly becoming a nicer guy.

7. Nic- I was never too crazy about Nic originally, but I think he grew on me. And he really brought his a-game this season. He was more than a one note Alejandro joke but still felt very much like an Alejandro wannabe. He’s hilariously obnoxious without being obnoxious to me. His strategy bot tendencies are great too! I'll actually miss him, but his exit was enjoyable.

6. Julia- Julia’s One Erection obsession was funny sometimes, but she kept her natural charm, i.e. her constant anger and rage, which has lead to a lot of funny rants, meltdowns and yelling (which are so nicely written). She was still funny as before, and her interactions with Arthur are still tons of fun particularly the new turn they've taken.

5. Layla While Layla reverting to her old ways seemed to hurt her character development, she’s still very funny and hilarious. She works as a mean and bossy character and her treatment of Veronica and her laziness is great. Her wants are pretty hilarious too, and her recent interactions with Charles were both hilarious and interesting. Her departure from the show was a wonderful end to her journey along with the backstory given to her character and I think she's one of the best characters ever <3

4. Chelsey- Chelsey is another lovable character who was even more lovable this season. And I’d say she was much funnier than she previously was. Her popular girl attitude is hilarious and she has great interactions with everyone judging them on popularity. She is even more of a queen <3 Beyonce was also referenced :D I knew she listened to it!

3. Arthur- Arthur is funny consistently. How he interacts with other characters, whether annoying them or being friends with them. And his ‘Puber T’ persona is hilarious too. I also like his sadness over losing his friends, shows a bit more depth to him. And now with his crush on Julia, Arthur has a plot, keeping him fresh with some new joke material! He's full of hilarious sayings and weird family members, and it makes him a load of laughs.

2. Wolfgang- Wolfgang is gone on to be one of the best characters. He’s funny all the time, has good interactions (Puck and Chelsey stick out to mind) and has some depth with his relationship with Helga (which is so sweet) and very sympathetic. His friendship with Flora and the niceness he underwent are amazing. He’s just all around great and lovable and I'm so glad he had this chance to shine <3

1. Flora- Flora is such a sweetheart. I’m constantly rooting for her to be liked and treated nicely, and to prove herself and break her mold as boring, even a little. She's an underdog who people didn't respect, but earned it with her challenge beastness. She has had some very funny jokes at her expense though. Her (one-sided) rivalry with Chelsey and her over ridiculously cute lines are wonderful, and make me love her even more <3 And her heroic sacrifice for Wolfgang was so sweet. She's a true hero and star!

Total Drama: Paradise Falls[]

Finished

22. Sid It’s been awhile since I’ve read the past chapters, particularly his, but I don’t remember anything about him expect he and Mona were kind of friends? He never really had his own interactions. I don’t hate him but there wasn’t enough of him to warrant a higher ranking.

21. Danny L.- Danny L. was another someone I hardly remember, except that he was usually annoying.

20. Benny- Benny’s jokes were occasionally funny, but his most memorable thing is being on the bad end of Catheryn’s idol. So he gets a low ranking.

19. Mona- Mona isn’t unlikeable, but despite being a rocker or party girl she never gave me that vibe, and as a character I was on the fence about her most of the time. But in the last few chapters, I liked the struggles she had and I got more of a rocker vibe by her passionate nature. Overall, she was okay but never my favorite.

18. Mindy- I feel bad about placing Mindy this low as I remember laughing at her sometimes but I can’t remember at what or anything else she did than be with Nigel, which while sweet didn't change much. So she places low for not standing out and not really being that interesting. I have made her a light higher because her friendship with Alice was sweet as

17. Starlight- Starlight’s love triangle wasn’t bad and she was likable but a bit too generic in hindsight. I can’t tell if I like her better with Woodrow; I think the couple seems cuter but Woodrow could’ve had more romantic choices later down the road, and I’d like to see more of it.

16. Kasey- I like Kasey mostly for how his elimination was done; I generally thought Helen had fallen for him, but then she pulls an awesome blindside. But he didn’t do much besides that, but I don’t think he needed to.

15. Fantine- Fantine was cute and sweet, and did make me chuckle a bit, but a bit too under focused to put any higher on the list.

14. Cliff- I liked Cliff but I couldn’t be put any higher, due to him not doing much. The love triangle was generally nice, and he was funny at times. I’d like the idea of Cliff and Helen, but since I suggested that it can’t affect my rankings :p (Though I hope it gets brought up before the end of the show)

13. Nigel- Nigel never really talked much, and that was part of his character, but it did make him someone we didn’t get to know a lot about (I always forget he's British too :p). I think now I realize that's just how his chilled nature was, but it didn't lead him to standing out a whole lot. I did like the change he underwent in the last few chapters which made him more compelling, and overall I think his chilled nature was nice.

12. Orlando- Yeah Orlando didn’t do much, but I liked his plot and his relationship to Catheryn, which I really wish got more focus. But I think he was a nice, developed early out.

11. Lancelot- Lancelot was a funny character and very likable. I think he had a really good send off for an early out. I’d love to see more of him.

10. Woodrow- Woodrow was a very likable character with a lot of good moments and I did enjoy the romance between Starlight. He didn’t have as many great moments after the merge and his and Mona’s friendship was kind of forced but still a likable character.

9. Faustino- Faustino was a very likable character; his unluckiness was sympathetic but hilarious. I was surprised but glad he made it to the merge. (Also, didn’t Catheryn reveal he had a crush on Bitsy? Cause I ship it).

8. Zachariah- Zac was a fun character and I enjoyed his friendships with Lorelai, Faustino and Lancelot. He was wild and expressed a lot of different emotions. And his feelings towards Lorelai were handled really well. Although I didn’t like how he betrayed Faustino. (He’s also very shippable; I’m shipping Yumi and him, I think Lorelai could hook them up)

7. Joanne- I’m a sucker for those characters meant to be forgettable. She was kind and hilarious, and I enjoyed her friendships. I also love how she won the loser challenge. Like a boss.

6. Yumi- Yumi is adorable! She's funny and I adore her friendship with Lorelai! I was a bid sad to see her go the way she did but she was wonderful for the short amount of time she was here <3

5. Alice- Alice was fun and I liked her interactions with animals but she became very forgotten as the show went on until the merge, which is why she's kind of low along with not being too big early on. However I like the story that she's gained, about being a nice person who makes a bad decision, sometimes even trying to be a nice person. I think it's been handled well, and shown her to be more than a friend to animals. Plus, she's had a few cute moments <3

4. Lorelai- Lorelai’s sarcasm and indifference were great, and I also like you had an interest in fashion, it kinda conflicted with what you’d expect based on her personality. But she sank my ship! Just kidding, I actually found her not wanting a relationship with Zac nice and realistic and I enjoyed their friendship, along with her friendship to Yumi.

3. Helen- Helen did act like a villain sue, but she was still n enjoyable character. She was funny at times and pretty competent. And at times she did display feelings other than a basic villain; she was attracted to someone, she didn’t always like being called a villain, she did value someone as friend and was hurt they didn’t believe in them. She was probably one of the best people left towards the later end to the merge and she always kept things interesting.

2. Bitsy- Bitsy is just a cute sweetheart! She’s lovable and I feel a lot of sympathy for her because everyone underestimates her. But on a few occasions she proved quite competent (like tricking the others into pretending she blurted out Helen had an idol). I wasn’t a fan of her elimination, her performance in the challenge was made to seem like she wasn’t smart and was on the end of a lot mean votes. But she was very cute and lovable anyways.

1. Catheryn- Catheryn was a really fun character and good antagonist. She had an interesting relationship, fun interactions and was funny. She made for a very believable antagonist and did some really great twists. I was shocked at how early she was eliminated, but enjoyed the twist and the secrets she revealed as she left (particularly Eva dating Chris for fame xD)

Total Drama Frozen[]

Complete (unless the Ch. 20 rewrite changes anything).

Warning:  There be MAJOR spoilers for dis story!

16. Andre- Andre wasn’t ever hysterical to me, but he was a fun character who was friendly, relatable, and was funny sometimes. His relationship with Dania, from what we can gleam, was cute and I'd like his conflict with Trent. Ulimately however, he wasn't a big player in the story.

15. Kaleb- I kept bouncing between disliking him or finding him hilarious. Overall though, he was more funny than not. Ironically, the most I like him was after he was voted off xD He was a catty, drama inducing diva type character and I enjoyed it, (though occasionally it was rather nasty)

14.  Saber- Saber wasn't a bad character in the least; the movements he made to the plot were very important and the love triangle was great drama as was his conflict with Britt afterwards. And whatever is going on in his head is fascinating. Partially he's low because I personally don't like cheaters and because his prince persona did get a bit tiring; it felt like he kept saying the same fairy tale story and some the jokes about it didn't always hit. He's a character I want to see more of, but I like everyone else more so...

13. Hannah- Hannah is in somewhat the same boat as Saber; a character that brought a lot of interesting drama but is lower simply cause I like the others more. Her video game references were cute and I do like the idea of these relationship troubles stemming from her distance from reality and surprise at being liked by two guys when never liked by another.

12. Vishal- I really like Vishal too and his role in the story as trying to be the antagonist; he brought some nice strategy and fueled conflict through story. He wasn't the main antagonist but served as a good secondary antagonist and I enjoyed his downfall.

11. Rosalie- Okay, so I love a lot of this cast so its hard to pick favorites :] Rosalie is a really sweet character and her relationship with Emmett is so adorable <3 I find her and the amazing female friendship trio that is her, Ivy and Lexi...uh, well amazing! And her issues with her feeling like she's losing all her friends is nice.  My fixed feelings about her secret and its...'reveal' contribute to her lower placing, but mostly its because the other characters have more development or zany personalities so she gets lower.

10. Mitchel- Mitchel is really sweet and fun. I like his friendship with Dania and I adore how his flirtations with Ivy change to a sweet romance. And his father being on the show and convincing him to join dancing was really sweet.

9. Emmett- Emeet was lovable guy who had some funny lines. His friendship with Frosty was great and probably my favorite male friendship in the story. His relationship with Rosalie was so adorable <3 And his elimination rather a twist/heartbreaking. I'm very curious to see how he does in Tides.

8. Dania- Dania was a sweetheart and rather lovable character. Her change from her conflict with Ivy to a touchy friendship is amazing and I love it (especially that she supports Ivy in the end <3). Her elimination itself was shocking. Overall, given her limited time and tamer personality she can't top my list but she's great.

7. Twilight- Okay, so most of her plot was tied to Frosty and vice versa. But it was such a sweet and dramatic and heartbreaking plot! I really enjoyed it and was so thankful for its happy end! Her being a member of Team Britt was also amazing <3 As for the character herself, I just loved her childlike personality and belief in fantasy.

6. Frosty- Frosty and Twilight are pretty connected as characters so their rankings are pretty close for mostly the same reasons :p His personal issues over his duty and his love broke my heart though D: Frosty gets the edge for his Emmett friendship, the change he brings to the game and you know being a real elf.

5. Britt- It took awhile, but Britt really did grow on me and he helps make the final so intense. His story was honestly just tragic xD From his falling apart with Hannah and Saber, to being used by Vishal and then by Jade. He becomes a rootable underdog. He is a really sweet and nice guy who just is misunderstood and wants to be accepted and fit in, which makes sense given his foreign nature.

4. Lexi- Lexi is adorable and I love childish characters so naturally she makes it this far. It helps she's part of the amazing female friendship that is The Holy Trinity. But her story with being friends with Zania and them becoming isolated and seperated is really interesting and heartbreaking. Her becoming more independent while retaining her childish nature is great too and feels like a good end to her character <3

3. Zania- Zania is crazy! I'm glad she avoided being a preachy hippie character and instead become so insane. She brought a lot of humor with her Agent Z persona. However her friendship with Lexi and how it becomes so distant was really great (while heartbreaking) and shows how that crazy personality, while lovable, isolates her.

2. Ivy- Ivy's story was amazing! Starting out as a traditonal Heather like antagonist she had hilarious lines with her meaness and sassiness along with her conflict with Dania. However the twist of her and Jade and who is the antagonist and the change that brought in Ivy's character was great. At first I was reluctant with her lovesick attitude but it made more sense, as someone whose trying to fit in. I just like how she goes from the stereotypical mean girl to the betrayed but changing person to a hero of the story! Its amazing character development <3 Her friendships with Dania and being a member of the Holy Trinity are also just <333

1. Jade- It was a tough call between first and second, but Jade won out! Jade's reveal as the Big Bad of the season was an amazing that lead to a lot of interesting developments and affected a lot of characters in these rankings. But its not just because her character has the biggest effect on the story. She's a hilarious nutcase xD Her desent into madness and how she adopts the characteristics of eliminated contestants is fascinating as well as funny. Her relationship with Britt is just tragic as well and I NEED MORE ON THE FALLOUT. She's a well written character; good storywise and in execution.

Total Drama Island: For Your Entertainment[]

As of Episode 1 (2 Chapters)

22. Josh- I don’t dislike Josh at all, but the point of his persona was that. I know very little about him so it’s hard to place him any higher, but I think he’s a sweet seeming guy.

21. Eric- Eric isn’t a bad character, I just personally am not a fan of his character, that is wannabe gangsters; I guess I just can't behind their delusions. His bragging was kind of annoying to me, but that was the point. His rock collection jokes did get me to chuckle plenty though.

20. Angel- I don’t dislike Angel by any means, but out of all the characters I feel I know the least about him, due to be introduced late and having a short interview. But with a good cast you have to split focus, so I suspect I’ll see more of him.

9. Cara- Cara seemed very sweet but I don’t know much about her besides that and she loves animals, which I do like and look forward to seeing more of. She doesn’t have as big a personality compared to the others, and hasn’t gotten her moments yet, but like Angel that’s only for one chapter.

18. Irina- Irina is kinda in the same boat as Angel and Cara, but had a little more focus. Her relationship with her older sister is made very important and feels like it’ll be a part of her character development. But it’s overshadowed her for the most part now.

17. Isaac- Isaac has had some really funny lines of dialogue and I get his personality, but I do wanna know a little more about him as the show continues, as besides his flirting I don’t know a lot about him.

16. Zack- Zack’s inventing seems interesting and he has a mischievous side, but I feel like I don’t know him that much about him or seen that side yet.

15. Risty- I like her confident attitude and that fantastic mane of hers but I wanna see more of her to see how well I like her in comparison to the others.

14. Sebastian- Sebastian is pretty mysterious so far, so it’s hard to rank him any higher, but I do immediately like how competent he is right off the bat at the first challenge. He seems like the antagonist to me, so I hope to see more sides of him.

13. Robert- I was glad to know Robert's backstory, and it's a pretty sad one that makes him relatable. He's had a few funny moments too. It does seem like his incident overshadows him a bit though.

12. Minerva- Minerva is a chatterbox, which is really fun and her good energy keeps things fun. I like how she got along great with Helen (the dancing felt realistic to me). And her conversations have been as funny as they are long.

11. Monique-  Contrary to Tina, I think Monique instantly displayed confidence and attitude and I love how serious she is about her dream and how she’s worked hard to get creed to back her up. It sucks how she got treated, and I look forward to her proving she’s tough.

10. Ophelia- Ophelia did give a kind of crazy vibe when she arrived, but I liked it and she was very fun as soon as she arrived. I also loved hearing about what kind of art she did, it sounds really out there, and the same can be said for this character.

9. Camille- Camille’s lines so far have been very funny and she has a sweet personality, and I enjoy how out of touch she is. She is like a small lovable child. I’d like to see how she interacts with the others.

8. Paul- Paul seems like a just a friendly, honest guy. I like his friendly nature and having no shame at all for his dedication to being a boy scout. He is who he is, and that’s a really nice guy.

7. Elena- Elena isn’t nice, at all, but she’s pretty funny. She’s mean and spoiled but always speaking her mind and I can already tell is very fame crazy. She has displayed some homophobic tendencies though, but I feel she’s a love to hate character.

6. Avery- I enjoy a good diva character, and Avery is one of those. She’s very full of herself, and I like how she views her helping in after school activities. I like her conflict with Allison, and want more of her. I put her above the other diva (Elena) because Avery seemed to show a bit more of her personality.

5. Gabe- Gabe’s self-obsessed personality would make me think I wouldn’t like him, but surprisingly, he’s very hilarious to me. His remarks are usually witty and he has a very clear, big personality.

4. Donna- I love Donna’s wit and humor, and it makes her interview stick out most in my mind. She also seems rather smart, knowing Victor’s quote and calling him out on it. I’m looking forward to see how she interacts with others.

3. Victor- Victor really sticks out me, he has a big personality and shows it, and it’s fun. I love how he uses one of the most obvious Shakespeare lines when making his introduction, and how he plays with the audience in his interview.

2. Wes- I feel weird putting Wes this high, as he is a bit generic, but he’s very likable. He’s a nice guy and a musician, and his back story I think helped gave him more complexity than Trent, who in story he is compared to, which I liked the acknowledgment. And his and Opal’s same last name cracked me up.

1. Allison- I can tell Allison has a lot of personality. From her very stand out physical appearance, to her humor that does crack me up. Her interview with Tina was great and I like the conflict she is developing with Avery.

Total Drama Voyage[]

Ranking +/- Character Thoughts
22nd -5 Johnny I'm glad he went, I felt like he could've been boring honestly. I wanted to like him, I hate to write off characters just cause their nice. But he didn't impress me much, though I loved how he was oblivious to Chelsea.
21st -9 Hayley Lol she was great. The recruits jokes were funny, her being generic and a little Lindsay like, and her storyline of playing too hard was creative, and made for an unexpecting first boot.
20th +2 Kyle I don't know, he just irks me. I don't like delusional nerds usually, and that's Kyle with being a jerk. He might be funny, but he just doesn't make me laugh.
19th Same Corey Corey's sudden alien spazzing is annoying at points. I do like the story of him being at the bottom, and he's friends with Virgina...but he annoys me :] The only part I laugh at him is when Paris beat him up.
18th -7 Tucker To be honest, he was the person I forgot when I was doing these rankings. So he's a WHO? But I think he could be interesting enough to not.
17th Brady I feel these rankings are really...weird I guess? Like, there skewed a lot by the last chapter.  I feel like I like Brady a lot more than other characters overall, but from last chapter he wasn't that memorable. So its more he was just so INV, that's he's low now, but still makes me laugh. Maybe I should change how I do rankings...
16th -8 Gloria Same as Brady above; I love her, she was just UTR last chapter. Except higher because she had a few funny bits with her rivalry with Paris and fake dying xD
15th -12 Roland Roland is fun, and him thinking he somehow went snowboarding with Ghandi was hilarious. But then he disappeared...
14th +7 Tyrone Kinda thought Tyrone was going to be invisible, but then had a plot! With the best character too! It was funny, more for Paris, but he contributed and I liked it.
13th +5 Ian I'm conflicted on Ian. I think I might have nerd phobia or something... Like there were parts where I liked him last chapter, and his odd friendship with TJ. Him costing the challenge but surviving was funny.
12th -3 Mel I like Mel, her negativity was funny. Her having some  plot with Axel is interesting and I like! Its nice seeing more of her and her thoughts, and being a straight man to her team.
11th Axel I feel this is a weird ranking for Axel. Like I enjoyed his plot with Mel becoming closer (wouldn't say I shipped it). I did laugh at some of his hispter jokes, but I didn't at others. He's here almost like a reverse Brady; I liked him this chapter, but don't have him high overall.
10th Virginia Okay, so Virginia was pretty UTR...but I still adore her! She's just adorable, and her habit of Broken English is rather cute. She's like Fleur., another cute foreigner fave. I think I have a type of loved character <3
9th +6 Britney Idk if Britney should be this high, but she said Baka like a freakin Tsundere. So she gets points for that xDD I honestly can't remember much else she did...but I like her!
8th +8 TJ I was worried TJ might be just kinda chill, but she's fierce, fiesty and not afraid to cause conflict or play the game. She already seems to be going for Garett, so I wonder how long she'll last... I also like she's somehow seems to be in a frienship trio with Britney and Ian, who don't seem like the usual people she'd hang out with. But I love odd friendships so I'm down for it <3
7th +3 Erika Erika is fun! She's a good straight man to everyone else and a relatable character. Her keep shouting over dramatic killed me haha.
6th +13 Chelsea Lol, I didn't think highly of Chelsea but...she was really funny this chapter! Her trying to flirt with Johnny extremely hard, and he not picking up on it and it not working for her. It all came together when it seemed like she'd read that poem...then Johnny was kicked xD I'm not sure how long she will last but I hope something good happens with her...
5th +1 Garrett Garret is great! I just love how fake his lines are, figuring out what's a lie and how two-faced this guy is. He's a good manipulater too. I think he's the main antagonist, but luckily the story doesn't feel like only one character is causing conflict (which it kinda did feel like in TD:PF). So looking to see this snake contiune to be a snake!
4th +9 Jeremy He's like a big puppy dog! That's just how I have to describe him. He's funny, kinda ditzy, but cute. He and Kitty work well together because of that. His line about dish washing was hilarious xD
3rd -1 Kitty Kitty <3 Her overtalking is hilarious, as is her child-like logic. She's just silly and oblivious, but well meaning and fun! Its kind of Lindsay. She and Jeremey are a fun duo (and I kinda ship them :3)
2nd +2 Rita

Rita is hilarious! Like I'm really afraid she'll quit, because she killed me this chapter. The unheard voice of reason, getting livid at these whippersnappers. The whole resturaunt scene with the Adventurers was gold, and the ending with her being right was the best part. She's the straight man to these nutjobs, and I love it!

1st +4 Paris She's just so hilarious and also a strategic genius. She's a queen, from not knowing Ghandi to getting rejected by Tyrone. I do like even though she is such a queen she's being humilated still. I just don't think there is a way she couldn't be my fave xDD

Easy, Breezy, Beautiful[]

Current

14. Gretchen- Don't get me wrong, I like Gretchen. She was an enjoyable sassy diva character and her elimination was extremely well done. But the whole cast is likable and since she was the first out and didn't crack me up as much as the others she gets this placing.

13. Travis- I like Travis too; he's funny and works as a smart character and a straight man to the other antics. But the other characters have simply provided more humor than him and he hasn't had many major interactions beside his conflict with Spense.

12. Chadd- First off, Chadd's way of speaking was hystercal! Second, I really enjoyed Chadd and Heath's sweet friendship <3 It was very touching and I applaud him for being a hero. Overall though, he's not my favorite and he's an early out so he gets the lower totem.

11. Pietro- Pietro's manly obssession and budding friendship with Alfred is rather enjoyable. He hasn't been as foucsed on as other characters so he stays in a low placing right now, but that could easily change.

10. Ramsey- Ramsey's character as the odd one out and straight man to the other characters' antic is very funny and I particularly love his friendship with Lila <3 (he's also rather shippable...). But like Travis, his straight man antics keep him from being as high and he hasn't had too much focus either.

9. Matilda- Matilda is great; her overreactions are always hysterical and her conflict with Karen is shaping up to be really fun! I could see her getting old in the future, but for now I enjoy this nitpicker :p

8. Alfred- I think the concept is rather clever and especially in how it plays out in the first challenge. Alfred's a rather likable guy with a nice friendship with Karen and Pietro. I want to see more of who he is however.

7. Danni- Danni's been somewhat minor so far but everytime she talks she's been hilarious! Her interactions with Betsy and Spense are great and I can't wait to see how these develop in the future.

6. Spense- Spense is such a jerk, but he's also a butt monkey and it makes him rather enjoyable. His vaping turned out to be a funny joke and I'm looking forward to his and Danni's plot.

5. High-Heel Heath- Heath is a really enjoyable character. I appreciate that even though he's a drag queen he's not just a sassy diva the whole time but feels like a person with more to him. His friendship with Chadd was extremely heartwarming and I enjoyed his partnership with Karen as well. Interested to see where his story is going to go...

4. Vicky- Vicky is rather underused but she cracks me everytime she appears! Her opening with the sad diary entry was great. She's mostly served as a deapan snarker and a straight man which have worked wonderfully <3 I want more of her :p

3. Lila- Lila is a sweetheart plain and simple and I enjoy her! I do really like that she seems to have a sort her own plot developing, with her friendship with Ramsey and her being conflicted with playing to mean. In the past nature lovers can feel preachy so its nice she has just come across as really sweet <3

2. Betsy- Betsy's amazing! Her country accent is well written and she's really funny with her reactions and her amazing physical strength. She's proven to be a great villain too, with her two faced nature and the direct way she confronts Chadd.

1. Karen- Yeah, I love Karen <3 She's like a chill due mom! Her nudity has been hysterical to me and I rather enjoy the friendly (and sometimes motherly) way she interacts with Alfred, Lila and Heath. Her masterminding Gretchen's elimination was great and her conflict with Matilda is fun too! She's just a fun character while also a competent in the game.

Ranking +/- Character Thoughts
18th -5 Henry Henry was really stupid in this last chapter; I had felt like he was a little smarter than he seemed before but he blamed Lito without a lot of evidence and breaking everyone’s stuff wasn’t smart. I don’t feel bad he left.
17th -10 (but only due to the change in format) Violet Violet was based on one of my favorite book characters so of course I loved her! She was straightforward, intelligent and felt like she had a very clear identity and person. I enjoyed her friendship with Charlie and her elimination was well done from the usual first out jazz.
16th N/A Sebastian Eww. He’s just so pretentious and self important and treats others so poorly. Up until now, he hasn't felt like had a storyline. More like a joke character whose joke is "you suck, I'm cool." And now its him losing that blog? Maybe that'll lead to a story I like...
15th -11 Lito I liked this character previously but...I feel like I had him wrong. Granted he was a minor, but I saw him as more looking for a scoop guy. But he's more of a celebrity reporter? And a rather nasty one too? Idk, I feel there are already a lot of aggresive celebrity types.
14th -11 George Idk, maybe I shouldn't have dropped George so much. He's been feeling like a different character at points, but here he was just stereotypically dumb and rich. Which isn't bad. But just the randomness of that 'sex' scene? Idk, I'm just not interested in him if he's the typical rich jerk.
13th -2 Maria I feel its a little mean to lower Maria so low. I mean, we knew she was going to be a bitch! But I again didn't enjoy the weird sex scene and how quickly she threw herself at a man for money. She struck me as an independent, tough latina.
12th +6 Carl Carl's moment with Nicole helped me like him a whole lot more. It showed he had more to him and humanizing side. At the same time, it felt half assed and unsincere due to his  adressed egotistical nature. Time will tell if I grwo to like him.
11th +1 Haru Haru has been warming up to me! His superhero jokes are still very funny and him trying to save Alexandira was <3 But I still rememeber being iffy on him so not sure if he'll go or down...
10th +7 Ivy Ivy was very turned down this chapter and that worked a lot! Her liking her team and wanting to get to know them more, made her seem a lot more dimensional. And that scene with Meadow was so sweet <3
9th N/A Charlie I'll admit that I'm not sure if Charlie should be rated lower, because I wasn't crazy about him this chapter. On one hand I liked his interactions with Evan. On the other, he's been very whiny and still even more an obvious hero edit. But I liked him in the past, unlike some of the others under him, so I felt he should stay here.
8th +7 Karma I didn't take Karma as someone who was not confident in themselves...but I love the turn it took with her character xD She has some real plot going on and it did crack me up when she asked if Medusa liked her. Plus she was also one of the few focused on the challenge.
7th +8 Meadow Meadow was a bit more preachy in past chapters, but I've come to her appreicate her peaceful nature and her role in the story as an outsider; it made her endearing.
6th +2 Nicole Nicole is still very fun and her optisim is greatly appreciated! I like she was the one to form an unusual friendship with Carl and help redeem himself a bit. It fits her character. Plus she's one who tried in the challenge :p
5th +5 Janelle Janelle was a bit mixed, but she's won me over! I like her tarot card readings and how she acts like she's intentionally trying to be aloof. It's very humourous. And who knows, she could be an actual psychic given there are greek monsters xD
4th -1 Chloe Don’t have time to figure out how to make that o :p Anyway, Chloe has been interesting! I love the way she talks, very openly vulgar, and sneaky nature. Super interested to see what her deal is and what she has planned.
3rd +3 Jackson Jackson is a lot of fun! He’s kind of obnoxious, but in a fun way! I love all his random song trivia (xD at his off key singing). And his diva like moments and over the top nature at things are rather fun!
2nd N/A Evan People always tell me I’d like drag queen shows. They might be right because I like drag queen characters :p Evan is no expectation (he said hunty, he immediately gets a Top 3 spot), he’s a very sassy diva! And his developing conflict with Alexandria seems interesting! Not to mention him trying to help Charlie and defeating that gorgon was amazing! He’s defeated two out of two monsters.
1st N/A Alexandria I ADORE her! She’s a very big personality and I enjoy her self-absorbed diva attitude! It’s fun and creates some interesting conflict. I’m also a sucker for stories about former child stars so that added factor is another reason to love her! Her conflict with Evan is shaping up to been nice <3

Ranking +/- Character Thoughts
24th Same Kimmi Kimmi is just such an odd duck. From lovable cutie to hero to terrible villain to maybe redeemed crazy person? Rofl, she's gone through a lot of phases and my feelings have shifted. I again feel like her story didn't go as it was intially intended, but I do like the Kimmi we have now and want to see her again. She probably should be up a few rankings honestly, but this format is just annoying as heck so...
23rd Same Leo I like Leo; I enjoyed the acting jokes, feeling out of place and his deal with Mana, but being the last to arrive in the first chapter, he didn't get a lot of spotlight. His elimination was well done, but he just was an early out so he just didn't shine. I do like the idea of him having a bad past, but that's mostly in his bio, so we'll have to see when he returns what he does.
22nd -6 Elyar

<spsan style="color:white;">I feel a bit mixed on Eylar. Overall, I did enjoy and I don't consider him a bad character. He was mysterious, but played an important role. And his shift from ally to hidden villian to redemption was interesting.

But he just never clicked for me fully and never felt like he changed or did much. Some of the Pirates did feel stagnant or like you (Zac) were uncomfortable with them. And that's fine; I'll love them for both of us :p

Still, I am curious to see Eylar in future stories and now that he's free(?) what will he do with his life?

21st Same Wing Wing was a fun character and great idea for a summer themed story. Her story did end a bit lukewarm, she got a happy ending, but was kinda painted as the villain in a complex situation, when she was close with a lot of her fellow Pirates. I did love her message in a bottle; I hope Elyar shows it the other Pirates. She did get a bit less funny as it went on, which all puts her lower. But I still loved her character and think I want more of her.
20th +1 Blake Blake was fun; he had a great friendship with Sam, rivalry with Collin and the awkwardness of Hannah's attraction to him. That uncomfortableness around girls was interesting. As sad as I am to see him go, his elimination was very clever and funny, a good reason to eliminate him than the usual fodder early outs can have. And it had impact on the plot. Still a very good character!
19th +1 Tameron I'm probably in the minority, but I enjoyed Tameron! Then again he was kinda shipped with Rhonda... still he had some funny moments, a good rivalry with Wing, tying into the mystery of Floria and was important part of Zaina's development. He served his role well in the story, and how he can branch out as an individual someday.
18th +1 Colin

Overall I liked Colin; the Canadian vs. American jokes were hilarious and Sam and Hannah's attempts to woo him were hilarious. He and Blake had a good, short-lived rivalry. I do feel the disinterest everyone had in him ended a little prematurely, and his sudden want for attention felt out of character, though I think was more establishing a darker side (what are you trying to say about American Twinny, we crave attention :p). Still, I enjoyed his elimination for the plot it brings, which not enough eliminations do.

17th -11 Damien Overall, I liked Damien but didn't love him. He was fun with Rhonda and I liked his friendships with Yasmin and Andre. He was weirdly a favorite to write for in the crossover and I think the idea behind him is interesting...but it never played out super strong. Most no one cared when/if they found out and Heather's apperance was cool, but a little underwhelming. Still, I liked him and how he tried to change at the end. I wouldn't mind seeing him developed more in a future season.
16th -6 Yasmin

Yasmin started off as the most undeveloped Pirate, but I think by the end she became one of the more versatile ones. She did have a lot more intereactions with others, and even if it was conflict she still provided an important role. I think seeing how she shifted as a character makes more sense seeing her story overall. I actually think I really like Yasmin and am debating if she should be higher. She's kind of an adventurer season 2 Courtney?

15th +2 Emmett Emmett's story feels short in hindsight, yet also very complete. He was someone who wanted to shake the perception of how he was viewed, trying to balance being a good leader and proving himself to everyone. It created nice foil to Youri and to a lesser extent Malia and Andre. He felt he proved that, and proved he was nice guy by giving the others a chance. I like his character enough that I'd totally be down for him in a future story, but also feel his story feels complete. Just a well done arc.
14th +2 Angel I'm still not over Angel's elimination D: D: D: SHE WAS GREAT! She had a positive spirit, a great opposites attract friendship with Malia, and great plot trying to prove herself to the others and struggling, her deteriorating friendship with Trixie being real strong. Her elimination felt powerful and leaving an impact for most everyone. She has a great potential for future storylines. The only reason I won't vote her back in is that I think she and Malia need to be separate at the moment, for their stories to continue to grow.
13th +2 Zania I will forever love Zaina. She's had an amazing arc over these past two stories. I know some people weren't crazy about the Floira mystery, though I do wonder if because they were spoiled ahead of time, but I liked the intrigue. Zaina was still a relatable and sweet character. Frankly, I think its a testament to this cast that the fan favorite from last season was beaten by others. I don't think its because she became worse, though there were parts she wasn't as kooky fun as last time. Still Zaina is a character who has a complete feeling story, but someone I would not mind seeing again and think there are a few things I want to see, but don't feel I need. That's very rare and puts Zaina high up for me!
12th +2 Youri Youri went from one of my least favorite characters to one of my favorites. He was was a fun character, a fun antagonist who seemed to have a complex motivation dealing with his lack of his masculinity. I do wish that was explored more, becaused I'm not totally sure I understand why he acted the way he did, or that I can infer what but it wasn't stated in story. Still a wonderful character!
11th -5 Sarah Sarah ended up being one of my faves; she was a sweetheart and always looking for fun. True, she didn't always stand out, but I enjoyed her. My favorite thing was probably what dimensions she added to Zac. She actually had a real rough time on the show. Overall, I think she provded she's not an ugly duckling.
10th -1 Malia

So Malia really didn't go how I thought she might. She seemed like a classic hero but became kind of a villian? And I kinda like that subversion of expectations? Zac said one of the themes of this story is how people can be wrong or do wrong things; not everyone is neccesarily a villian or a hero. Malia did mess up, and it's kind of tragic seeing the progression. But it for an interesting and sometimes lovable character!

9th -5 Alfie Alfie was never the deepest character, but he was an adorable little puppy dog. He was funny and just so sweet and silly. Trixie and his relationship was soap oprea, but it is Total DRAMA. Personally, I enjoyed it and found the ending of the story kind of heartbreaking.
8th +2 Fleur Okay, so Fleur wasn't the biggest character. But she was a fun supporting character. She was designed to be lovable and tragically eliminated. But who cares? IT WORKED. She has a great concept, was relatable and cute! She was always fun and interesting. My only complaint is that we didn't get a lot on her perspective. I wanna know if she felt she achieved her goal of making friends. She definitely needs to return.
7th -2 Andre Andre really made the most of his return. He struggled at first, which was rather realistic, and he was a real underdog. But in the end, he managed to lead the Sharks semi-successfully, win a few challenges and even redeem himself in a way. Andre was always someone to root for and really became an iconic character by the end.
6th -2 Grayson To make you understand how much Tides can shift a lot of my feelings remember that Grayson was at the bottom of my rankings. And now? He's one of my favorites! He really grew as a character and redeemed himself. His friendship with Viola was amazing, and his relationship with Samyson was adorable...till it was tragic. It just goes to show how a character can grow on you.
5th +4 Trixie So I think some people are hating on Trixie, and that is some bull! Sure, she's been a little less cowgirl and a little more Alfie obsessed, but she is a really fun character and someone I root for. She made quite a few mistakes throughout the season, but grew and I think kind of learned that she isn't always right. I think she grew and was another underdog character to root for. Also, RIBBIT. RIBBIT IS LIFE!
4th Same Hannah I love Hannah. She is hilarious, so delusional about herself and others. She’s got the craziest personality and it leads to a lot of fun developments. The development of her friendship with Sam from thirst rivals to close is so great, rarely done. Her and Fleur are adorable too <3 Even her interactions with the other captains have been fun.

I think what is I like about her is how I feel she is trying to become better, but struggling with admitting it and her delusions. There’s a bit of tragedy behind her character as someone trying to mask their insecurities, so even when she’s funny you remember that. But even when being good she’s still pretty egocentric. I feel like she has elements of Harley Quinn and Peridot, two of my favorite characters.

And her trying to become a hero? QUEEEEEEEENNNNNNNN!

What more can I say? It was tragic to lose her, but even in the end she was trying to redeem herself. Let me say it again for the folks in the back; QUEEEEENNNNNNNNNNNNNN!

3rd +1 Sam

The final three! This ranking is probably how much I want each to win as well, from least to most.

Sam is a hilarious character; I love the thirst. He's had great character interactions, from Blake, Colin, Grayson, Youri and one of my fave friendships Hannah. He's a hilarious character, and a great source of comedy.

However, I'm not a fan of what Sam's done to Grayson and has been a negative guy recenlty.  I think he's going to need to apolgize and own up. He's got to learn to be less selfish; that's what relationships are about. If he can do it by the finale, he'd probably go up one.

2nd -1 Cherry Cherry returning was the best choice folks, because she somehow became even more of a QUEEN than before xD Cherry was always hilarious, but it's been fun to see her now and try to play the villian of villian while also kind of being a good guy?
1st +1 Viola

Yeah, Viola is the character I want to win most. I'm not sure how likely that is, but what can I say? I really love her. She's grown, starting off as a cynic but letting herself get vunerable...and then hurt becasue of it. Constantly having to try to find out why she should care or hope and discovering she knows why. It's just made her compelling and truly iconic. But can she have a happy ending?

Total Drama: The Australian Outback[]

Ranking +/- Character Thoughts
16th Jon Jon wasn't too big a character, but I think he worked as a first out, having an understandable reason but that could leave room to argue him staying. And the irony of how he lost was clever. And he had a few funny moments, like his cheering. Again, a good first out.
15th Marc Not gonna lie, I initially forgot about him while doing these rankings. It was just a second, but enough to convince me his placing. Its not that he's bad, he seems nice and I like motivation for joining (I'm still not over those confessional set-ups) but he hasn't done much. Interested to see what his role is and I hope he gets expanded on.
14th Tiffany This cast is pretty likable; nobody I hate so far. Tiffany has just had the least amount of spotlight next to Marc, so she gets this low. I could ship her and Warren...I also enjoy her calling out and subverting the 'not here to make friends'. And her knowing about snakes was cool; she seems like someone with a developed past and I won't be surprised if she goes higher.
13th Warren I feel bad for putting the nicest and most normal people last. I think you do need kind and sane people for a well rounded cast, and they aren't always have to be boring; these three don't feel generically written. Just that everyone else has a clearer story role of was funny, which makes a quicker impression these first chapters. That said, Warren seems like the team leader guy; what i think works about all these different motivations all these characters have is that it can provide interesting conflicts. Also, after finding out his label is the father figure, I read his dialogue in a dad voice :3
12th Remmy Not gonna lie, Remmy's image made him seem attractive :] And the love triangle between his, Shelia and Stacey is great! But he's the weakest link, in that he's the least comedic, though his confessionals were hilarious. I love the idea of a contestant who is a male beauty pageant, and wanna see more of that, as I think it could developed.
11th Gobias Gobias is hilarious. Before reading initially thought he'd be a one-joke character, but he didn't seem that way. I won't be surprised if he is an early-out, but he's great comic relief.
10th Shelia Shelia seems like she'll be a fun character, given her flirty nature and her looks. Her rivalry with Stacey was funny, interested to see how that develops.
9th Stacey Like Shelia and Remmy, she was funny with her mix in the love triangle. Hindsight, Remmy might be the funniest with his confessionals, but he was a bit of dick too. Stacey is an underdog so I have to root for her! Plus she has the edge of being a hilarious idea with her mom; interested to see how her mom comes into play...
8th Roxie Roxie certainly feels like she might have one of the bigger plots of the story. She was pretty funny for being such an obvious poser and kind of an ass, and I'm interested to see how her and Rudy's story develops...
7th Rudy Pretty much the same reasons as Roxie, an interesting storyline here. He has the edge that I'm not sure who he is as a character, an ass or a guy trying to better himself? What are his motives? He has an interesting hook.
6th Carolyn Carolyn's just nonchancle about not caring about anyone and her phone obession were hilarious. She's a funny ass, a rare thing. I also won't deny reading her dialouge in Amy Serdais' voice made me love her even more.
5th Zabel Funny story, I actually forgot Zabel when I first started these rankings. But don't get me wrong, I love her! The jokes at her being nobody have been hilarious. i mean, was there a way she wasn't going to be my fave? I mean just look at my love for Flora or Jasper.
4th Maxwell Maxwell feels like a big character. He certainly seemed like a main narrator and straight man to some of the wackier characters, yet enough of the loner personality that he doesn't feel uninteresting. The hook of dating a former fan fave (I'd say Jaina is a fave) is interesting too. His dynamic with Sarrah is great too...and I do ship them (Jaina who?)
3rd Griffith I honestly really liked him more than I thought I would! He's a hilarious fail strategist, and with how annoying gamebots feel, especially in recent Survivor, that's refreshing.
2nd Hilda

To be fair, she had the biggest spotlight these first two chapters, twice as much as most characters and about a third more than Griffith. But I can't complain, because she's hilarious! She and Griffith both fall in that wannabe stratgeist role, yet work different enough that I'm not worried about the either overstepping their bounds. Griffith is more of the Internet forum wannabe, while Hilda feels a bit more fangirlish and Courtney like.

Anyway, she was hilarious and had a lot of great interactions. I look forward to more of her!

1st Sarrah I'm kind of surprised at this, and a bit worried she's actually an early boot, but Sarrah is my fave! She's just been hilarious and kind of crazy, and we know crazy girls are my fave haha. Interested to see what her dynamic with Maxwell turns out to be...

16. Rhett: I feel bad for putting Rhett this low, because he’s adorable and had his funny moments. But as a character designed to be somewhat irrelevant and invisible till he goes home...well it’s an easy choice. How well you remember someone helps, and as time passes I remember his moments less and less… Still, for an early irrelevant boot he’s charming.

15. Kingsley: I'm a little sad Kingsley is gone, but I honestly love a lot of characters so I'm not too hurt. He had some fun moments and his obliviousness was hilarious. At least he got to leave like a diva!

14. Isabella:  Isabella is an amazing first boot. There’s just a lot of things to love about her; she’s hilarious, adorable, surprising boot, felt like she had depth and a role in the story. She and Eclipse’s first boot maybe the most surprising first boots and also my favorite? I’m glad she was in the story!

13. Miles: The premerge is really stacked with great characters, isn’t it? Miles had some humor to his character and his sadboy shtick, but he really got this far for his character arc and that really strong growth he showed at his elimination.

12. Boris: I know. I’m shocked Boris is this high too. If you hadn’t read the story this would seem wrong. But Boris grew as a character and it was kind of an amazing journey. His friendship with Roald was adorable. And yeah, he did make me laugh towards the end. He grew as a character and that grew on me.

11. Suvir: Suvir was a fun character, who had a lot of great moments to the end. His theories were hilarious and over the top and his weird friendship with Frances was fun. Still, he's a little lower just because the other characters made me laugh more or I was more invested in them.

10. Rachel: I feel like other people may not agree, but I love Rachel. She had just a fun energy to her. Environmentalist characters just don’t always deliver, but she felt like a character who was funny and had a fleshed out personality. She’s lovely <3

9. Artemis: Aretmis was an incredibly fun character. I love the crazy girl archetype but I question if Artemis even fits that with Izzy or Roz. She’s not feral, she’s ARTIST. She’s truly a unique character. I’d pegged her as not making it far, but still kinda sad to see her go. Between her terrifying performances and her antagonistic rivalry with Kaitlin, she brought a lot of A-game. Hey, she went out with a banging Kaitlin’s dad.

8. Whitney : She was never the biggest prescense, because she never wanted to be. When she did speak or act, it was hilarious. Her deadpan attitude and non-chalance with everything was fun, and her romance with Roald was top comedy but also super cute! She's also a fashion queen.

7. Kaitlin: Kaitlin never failed to deliver, whether it's been needlessly petty and agressive or trying to gain the spotlight, she always failed and it was always hilarious. I was sad to see her go, but to be eliminated after a challenge she couldn't even do? What a Kaitlin way to go.

6. Roald: Roald is just lovable. The nicest guy, jolly, cheerful, always enthaustic for things no one should be enthuastic for, and never taking anything in a bad way. Dumb, but never annoying He's the perfect foil for Whitney, but had a lot of great dynamics with other characters, including Boris, Graham and the short lived bromance between him and Rhett.

Competing

5. Frances: This was a tough choice. Honestly, all the final 5 are great and would be great winners. I guess Frances gets the lowest because she's taken longer for me to get firmly onboard and she was giving the cold shoulder to Erica, so she might have been minor. Still, I love her rivalry with Erica, her partnership with Suvir and her friendships with Christian and Kelsey.

4. Erica: Erica is just fascinating. How someone can be so deluded, yet at one point recongized she was a terrible person. Erica wanted to be better, or was actively trying, but more and more she finds a way to justify all her actions. It's incredible, in a stupifying way. It makes her funny, at least to me, how contradictory she can be. She never fails to bring the excitement.

3. Christian: Okay, I'll admit that I thought Christian wouldn't make it this far. I'm happy to be wrong. He's hilarious with his 'Chad' personality, that by now has been driven into the ground. He got feels and has been rejected, beaten up by a child, and everything else. Still, he's shown a different side and I actually am rooting for!

2. Graham: You could honestly flip him and Kelsey as my top two cause they're both amazing and I debated making them share the spot. Graham just feels like such an original character with his out of touchness and overly romantic nature. He's good comedy, but he's a character I extremely root for and get invested in. (ALSO I'M SO HAPPY THAT HIM AND KELSEY ARE BASICALLY TOGETHER).

1. Kelsey <3 Do I need to say more? <3333333 She's relatable, hilarious, rootable, ship-able, and has a lot of fascinating depths. She's a barely fuctioning secret nerd trying to pass herself as normal and fuctioning...and doing a horrible job. How can you not love that? She's a versatile character who shown so much depth. I really don't know if she can win cause of her fake-out elimination, but I hope she does!

Changes Chart:

A new idea I'm trying; basically a chart to keep track of how much the rankings are changed, showing who got what placement and changed by how much. Basically, it lists the number of the chapter the rankings were updated, and the character's ranking that chapter. Italics were when they were eliminated, incase there is a major drop.

Contestant 2 3 8 9 12
Artemis 2 7 10 10 9
Boris 15 13 12 12 12
Christian 3 3 6 8 3
Erica 5 6 3 3 4
Frances 8 11 9 5 5
Graham 10 8 1 2 2
Isabella 16 15 14 14 14

Rachel 11 4 11 11 10

The Legend of Total Drama Island[]

Status: Current

WARNING: SO MANY SPOILERS.

Eliminated

22. Harold: Harold was the camper we know the least about, so I feel that justifies putting him here. Though the twist with his death is brillant and has lead to lot of fun theories (until I see a body I believe this boy is alive). For those reasons I make actually have him a little higher on my rankings. But I couldn’t resist putting him…dead last. *rimshot*

21. Geoff: Geoff probably has the least impact of a camper. That’s not a compliant, I didn’t even notice it till I was doing the rankings. Everyone else just has some moment that stands out more to me, especially with the returnees, so the urban cowboy just kind of gets last by default. But I think that’s honestly fair with how many characters we do have.

20. Tyler: Kind of similar to Geoff. I do love Tyler being the secret admirer for Eva (I called it!) and think he and Eva will be a cute couple. But other than that and his epic wipeouts during the extreme sports challenge I do kind of forget about him sometimes. Like I said, that’s not something I actively notice because I’m too enthralled with the other characters and mystery.

19. Bridgette: I honestly enjoy Bridgette’s whole little story arc. How deeply Harold’s elimination affects her and how she goes out by injuring Courtney. I just really enjoy that she was way too kind for this show and its actually good she left when she did. She was a nice, calm presence.

18. Trent: Between him, Gwen and Cody, I'm glad Trent went. He's a sweet guy, but not that dynamic. His return at the merge did lead to some great moments, like his and Gwen's reunion, his win, Heather's failed gambit and of course the love triangle elimination. Those are honestly a lot of great moments and I'm glad Trent returned to deliver them...but as a character I'm drawing a blank on him. Even Owen and Justin I feel I can nail their characters more, so I think this is as far as he can go. Still, loved his return.

17. Owen: Owen probably be way lower if he didn’t return (even though I enjoyed the twist of him being first voted out). I mean come on; it’s Owen. But he did deliver a lot of fun in the few moments he had at the merge. The gross eating challenge would have been a lot less fun without him there for sure.

16. Justin: Justin and Lindsay seem like an obvious pairing in hindsight, but I wouldn’t ever thought to pair them together. Probably because of Justin’s ego. But he was nicer in the first season, so LTDI captured that well. The two were a great source of (steamy) humor and are a really sweet couple. It was a fun role, but probably best he didn’t make it farther.

15. Beth: I just kept rooting for Beth. I wanted her to survive despite all the times she got in danger, her to make friends or fit in and be accepted by the others. Or to hook up with a hot guy (Bethjandro isn’t the ship I knew I wanted but now I NEED it to happen). She was an underdog and it sucks the way she went out, but she went out memorably.

14. Eva: Eva is honestly very under utilized character in canon, so I’m glad LTDI really developed her and flushed out her character. She didn’t feel like the one-dimensional character in canon, who fun always felt like she had untapped potential. Honestly she struggled a lot, but that made her more rootable. Her angry did become a factor in the story, but it never defined her character so that she was less. (Also her cameo in the first merge challenge maybe my favorite role a person has had in a challenge).

13. Noah: Is there anyone who doesn’t love Noah in some form or another? LTDI Noah is a great version, who does a good job at differencing himself from other nerdy boys with his great aptitude for literature and the classics. I really like how the dodgeball challenge was used to develop him and justify keeping him around. He and Cody were a fun duo and Noah’s crush was adorable (Opposite attracts are ships can so get behind <3). Noah had a lot of great one-liners, but I really like that his character had more to him than great one-liners.

12. Izzy: Izzy maybe my favorite canon character or at least up there. LTDI did not disappoint! Every Izzy line was just gold to me. She always made me laugh with her over-the-top lines and even her actions were written with that crazy, gymnastic flair of hers. The one that always sticks out is her past life as various animals; that just feels like such thing Izzy would do. But I think the mystery of her real identity and the reveal were great too. It added pathos to her, which I think is the thing she often lacks in canon and other works.

11. Sadie: Sadie being a prominent and breakout character of LTDI is just amazing. She’s probably the most underused character in fandom, in fics only as fodder. The fact she was developed and expanded enough to be an important character was amazing. And thankfully she was a character I loved!

Sadie and Katie’s friendship and weird but adorable ‘hive-mind’ was always interesting. They felt like a strong duo. Sadie’s breakout moment in the camping challenge is still one of my favorites. But it was nice that we saw differences between the two as well; Sadie’s intelligence and even strong will were demonstrated. Both of the BFFFLs get major props they don’t really see and I’m glad for it!

10. Ezekiel: Ezekiel had to be the highest ranking loser (at the moment). He was just one of the biggest characters and maybe even the ‘face’ of LTDI if a character had to, though I’d argue my top three could also easily earn that role. But even without that, I just really liked him. I was rooting for him, but also respect and love how tragic that elimination was. Set the merge off with a bang! Ezekiel had a lot of great character development, had a lot of creative solutions, and was such good shipping material. If I didn’t separate the rankings from eliminated to not, he’d be #4 at least.

Competing

9. Duncan: Duncan’s never been my favorite, but he’s been a fun presence. His nicotine withdrawal was a clever idea. He’s brought a lot of funny moments and ship teases (specifically the pixies). And now he’s bringing a fair amount of drama with the failed guy’s alliance and his revenge plan.

8. Leshawna: Not a lot of shakeups but I feel like one deserved change was Leshawna, for delivering an epic (and deserved) smackdown on Heather this chapter. It made her stand-out in memory, and I honestly debated on moving her higher, but I think overall I like everyone else still more. (Side-note: I'm real worried this incident may bite Leshawna in the butt...).

7. Gwen: Gwen has had a real rough time looking at everything overall; almost the first boot, lost her boyfriend, got buried alive, her hand injury, and she’s probably going to lose her boyfriend again. Yet she doesn’t give up and goes through it with her level of snark. Very canon and very admirable. I feel like she should be higher, but I like everyone above her for some reason. But I’m really rooting for Gwen to go far, take names and kick butt. She’s definitely an underdog.

6. DJ: I’m kind of surprised that DJ is this high given how secondary he’s been most of the story, but he’s really won me over. He’s definitely a better version than canon and feels closer to season 1, not as spineless or a crybaby. He ironically actually has a kind of dark side with his single-minded goal of eliminating Ezekiel, even making a deal with the devil. He’s just been an interesting presence, both with Heather and Dawn and I’m interested to see how those all come together.

5. Lindsay: Gideon just writes perfect Lindsay moments. Just a lot of hilarious moments of her dumb blondness coming into play. Gideon is also way better at coming up with wrong names them I am and love how she still can’t remember anyone’s names at this point. Yet she’s also had a lot of great moments, from the tragedy of her hair loss, her make-out session with Justin, and her surprise challenge domination at the extreme sports challenge (among other things…). I am fully prepared for Lindsay to be backstabbed/hurt, but till then I’ll enjoy her fun moments.

4. Cody: I’ll be honest in that TDI Cody has never been really one of my faves. I know blasphemy, but he just never clicked for me? Yeah, well throw that out for LTDI Cody. He’s a very compelling character. Even though I’m not rooting for him to get with Gwen, I’m still rooting for him. He means well, feels like an actual nerd, is an underdog that manages to pull through at times and is quite the romantic. Not sure who I hope he ends up with (of the choices left, there’s Heather and Leshawna).

3. Katie: A few characters may have had more focus, but if I were to pick one character who might be the protagonist or ‘hero’ of the story (or at least the season) it’s Katie. Katie is so well developed for such an under utilized character in canon. She’s really been through the wringer; she died, was cursed, lost her best friend, lost the guy crushing on her. But despite it she’s made it to the merge, been an asset to her team and good at challenges. She’s lovable and an underdog, but is actually scrappy when the situation calls for it.

2. Heather: Heather is just a lot of fun. She’s written really well, a strategically gamebot but whose own cruel, superficial and petty nature can’t help but come out. I admit to enjoying strategy, so her scheming confessionals and thoughts are fun. But it’s just as fun to enjoy all her conflicts.

1. Courtney: This is the Courtney I wish was canon. She’s competitive, argumentative, strategic but also genuinely a good natured person. Her and Ezekiel were one of the sweetest friendships (and ships) and really made her a likable character. I also just love how clever she is. I think it’s no surprise my top two are both strategic characters, but also highly motivated and ambitious. A character needs that to be rootable.

22. Alfie: I feel bad putting Alfie this low because I did like him. Him and Weston were cute buds and he had some cute friendships. I’m glad he regained his memories. But...I don’t know, I feel like he ended as a downer and lost some of his lovable traits from Tides with the whole memory loss and Weston feud. But, he’s been kind of been brought to normal, so I’d like to see him again.

21. Twilight: I also feel bad putting Twilight this low, but I think Zac said it well in the Let’s Talk. Twilight hadn’t moved past Frosty so it was hard to do more with her. I think her problem is one that has affected me before and has affected a few characters now; she has good angst, but it’s not going anywhere. She’s angsting over the same thing and that’s not moving forward. Still, I like the core of her character and she had moments. I’d want her to return after having her happy ending, but I’m not sure what that would mean.

20. Julien: Julien had his fun moments and honestly his ending was incredibly heartwarming and made him totally worth it as a character (cries at them finding the photo). He just had the trouble that he’s not as iconic as these other boots and was a supporting or minor character most of the chapter, along with a few times that I think Zac struggled. But ultimately I’d say those don’t bother me much; I liked him more than I didn't. But in an iconic cast, it's tough calls.

19. Andre: Andre is iconic in Seasons. No debating. His presence here will be missed, but it was enjoyable while it was here. He had a good dynamic with his team, was sweet with Dania...probably would have made top 5 if he wasn't eliminated. But I think it really started the story with a bang and I appreciate how gutsy it was to eliminating him. It was risky, but it paid off.

18. Ivy: It was hard to pick between her and Andre who should be above each other. I love both and their both iconic! That said, I think I like Eclipse Ivy a little bit more for all her interesting dynamics. I’m so glad she was brought back, she was an extremely fun character and provided a lot of drama.

17. Damien: I feel like I have a soft spot for Damien, but I really did enjoy the guy this season. His interactions with everyone we’re fun; short-lived friendships with Andre and Ivy, coming around to Flynn, and the shiptease with Fleur...and the end result. I have to mention him and Heather too; amazing! I think seeing how Damien was able to progress after Tides, I’m glad he returned.

16. Fleur: I had mixed feelings on her after her elimination, but after some time I overall positive on the twist. Fleur’s time in the game was fun; she had a lot of sweet and adorable moments with characters like Hannah, Salem and Isabella. Her prankster nature and her savage betrayal of Damien was amazing and brought an interesting facet to her character. I’m not sure I still fully understand who Fleur is, but I think that elimination was shocking and could lead to some interesting developments, so I’m overall happy with it.

15. Grayson: xD Grayson had probably was less noticeable than the other two eliminated before last chapter, but that's simply virtue of lasting longer. And I love Gray and am so proud of how much he has grown and overall I think his story in Eclipse had a satisfying ending. I just really like this boy.

14. Angel: Kind of shocked Angel was eliminated, but I also understand. She had a lot of great interactions and was at the center of a lot of relationships and events. She also was a lot of fun; I can’t not think about her fighting with that giant sausage xD If this season was supposed to be here becoming her own character it succeeded. I definitely want to see her again!

13. Rosalie: Rosalie become one of Seasons most iconic characters like that. I mean she was already the winner of the first story, but she became really iconic and brought so much drama and story right away. The love triangle, the winner feud, Frozen vs Tides, and all her interactions. She was a sympathetic villian you could respect and kind of rooted for, if at least felt for. She was complex. I still feel weird thinking of her as a favorite, but I guess I do?

12. Fynn- It feels hard ranking the most recent boots, not only because so much time has passed, but they had such shocking eliminations. Fynn has been lower on the rankings, so should he really be this high? Yet I've also said time and again that I love him! He's been consistently funny. But I mean falling for Hannah and having one of the most tragic eliminations? Yeah, it's a huge plus.

11. Kaleb- Similar with Fynn, it's hard to say how much is recency bias. But also Kaleb has seriously delievered as a character and was picking up steam. He was fun and even showed a more personal side. If after Frozen, you'd tell me I'd be this high on Kaleb, Rosalie and Vishal, I'd be suspect. But they've been amazing!

Competing

10. Payton- Payton has had some good moments with Dania, I think the squirrel feud was these recent chapters, but it defintely more Dania than Payton. I think she does bring a straight man/cyncial point of view dynamic that's nice, it's just as vocal as these other characters.

9Dania- I feel like she had to be higher during the popularity challenge, but I guess she's sort of fallen to the backburner. I think her and Emmett's plan is really interesting angle to her character, but I can't remember if it's been explicity stated. I do like the more active direction she's taken recently.

8. Hannah- GASP. Hannah dropped this low? The top ranking queen. Shocking I know. She was still probably the number one after Fynn's elimination, inspite of the betrayal just because it was such a Hannah moment. The Halloween chapter though? She was more minor. And honestly? That's fair. She's been so dynamic I feel like she needed to share the spotlight. I won't be surprised if she returns to first place though.

7. Cherry- I wasn't sure how Cherry would do coming into Eclipse. I hoped she'd go far and she certainly has the star power, but it'd be understandable if she went early. I'm glad she didn't though! Her romance with Blake has been insane and exciting, her power move with Vishal was shocking and betrayed her former closest ally, and now that she's made the merge. I think anything can happen.

6. Blake- Not surprising he's so close to Cherry, but he is higher. Their relationship has been really compelling and I'm glad Blake has got the Andre treatment and has been fleshed out. I like his dynamics with other characters like his female teammates and Weston. He's just lovable and rootable.

5.   Isabella- Isabella is a hilarious. She's oblivious and single-minded, but we've recently seen a different side to her. She's shown a little more awareness and a little more concern about others, and I really like this development with her <3 I'm excited she actually made it to the merge and I can't wait to see her being more hilarious.

4. Weston- I mean he's had a huge role in the last chapter, but even without it I've enjoyed him. He's just a sweetheart and now he's found himself on team of sharks. I think he's going to become a little bit disillusioned and I'm not sure how he's going to react to Emmett, Cherry and Vishal.

3. Vishal - My write up last time was all about how Vishal had changed and grown...and then he betrays Kaleb. To be fair, they never were best friends. But strategy driven Vishal is still here and I can't say it was the wrong move. He cemmeted something with Cherry and owned Emmett's trust. He's more complex and I'm curious what exactly he's going to do this time.

Emmett- Shocker? Maybe, but Emmett has take an interesting turn recently. He was the good guy of the Guys team, the leader, the hero. Then he clearly threw the challenge. I'm really fascinated to see his logic behind it and defend his choices, along with being saved by Vishal. Also, him being in a really sexy costume was funny.

1. Salem- So Hannah not being number one maybe shocking, but I imagine my second choice isn't. Bias :p I mean it was a Halloween themed episode! She got a big date and lead her team to victory (well Emmett helped but...). So yeah, she gets the top spot! I hope she can keep us since she was voted most likely to survive a zombie apocalypse (and hope it wasn't ironic).

20. Jared: So lowkey I don't know why I had Jared so high intially. Not that he isn't a good character, but I mean in a cast this stacked? Feels weird. Maybe that's just time talking. Jared and his brief shiptease with Wendy was cute, but I'm glad he left so we could focus on the other characters.

19. Floyd: I wasn’t sure if I was feeling Floyd at first, but he grew on me in his last chapter. He clicked for me when I realized he was more a self-proclaimed tough guy, whose own comedic bumbling made him mess up. Characters with egos who fail can hit the sweet spot for me. I honestly really liked he tried to be nice Veronica; he showed a lot more dimensions. Honesty pretty memorable for a first boot.

18. CliffordClifford was a big, lovable doofus. Him and Floyd made a great duo and I hope they're happy reunited.

17. Wendy:- Wendy was adorable, her chipper attitude to all of her terrible misfortunates was a lot of fun. It wasn't too surprising when she was eventually eliminated, but still made me sad. She's just fun and I hope she can work out whatever her feelings are or aren't for Jared.

16. PeterStill the saddest elimination so far. The amazing friend group between him, Quinn, Garret and Casey was hilarious and heartwarming. I loved how he brought out them and other Freaks. He brought the team together and I actually do respect his sacrfice. Peter himself was fun and had a lot of great energy.

15. Violet: Honestly, if I updated these rankings the chapter before she was eliminated she'd probably be really high, maybe even number one? She was a fascinating character and brought some neccesary and interesting conflict to her team. I was really rooting for her to do better and make friends. I like how she tried, but still failed due to her own hang-ups. I think CTD has a lot of that. People trying to be better or having good intentions, but their own biases and issues prevent them from making it easy and that's really interesting.

14. NataliaTBH, I'm not sure if I'd have her or Violet here. I like both a lot. Natalia was the mean girl and she brought a lot of drama. She easily took over and her little mean girl squad was fun. I really like her protective sisterly friendship with Britney and shipped her and Will. Peter's elimination may have been the saddest, but hers was the most shocking and feels like it will shake things up most.

Competing

13. Will: The cast is pretty stacked. Which is great as a reader, but makes rankings hard xD Even my lower places I'm still really high on. It really comes down to my own favorite character types, biases and how big their prescene was in the last chapter. I like Will and I'm excited to see what the fallout of last elimination causes, but I'd still rank him lower.

12.Casey: Before, Casey was lower because he wasn't as memorable. I wouldn't say that's the case anymore. He also defintely stands out from the journalist archetype usual on the wiki, in a good way. He's an analyst and a bit secretivie, but a nice guy. Also I ship and Quinn so hard! He and Will are just straight-laced and I tend towards zanier characters.

11. AllyAlly is a sweetheart plain and simple. She's also like the anti-Wendy or something? She has terrible luck, but it hurts others than herself. Regardless, she is the morale for her team. SHE MUST BE PROTECTED AT ALL COSTS.

10. Lyla(I lowkey felt I was tempted to put her higher because I got her on the personality quiz). It's hard not to root for Lyla, who is a very Trent with a little Gwen mixed in character. Her and Jesse are adorable, and I love how she's come out of her shell more and started performing. Very interested what she finds in Casey's journal...

9. Dominic: I wasn’t as initially high on Dominic, but he’s grown a lot on me. Partially because I think he’s become funnier or more varied in his jokes, but I also think it’s just because he’s been interacting with more people and we get to see different sides to him. He has a kind of accidentally thoughtful side to him. Plus Lyla is right, he’s funniest when he’s not trying to be funny.

8. Jesse: He is a cute bean. That’s it. That’s the take. He’s adorkable, him and Lyla are cute, and he’s hilarious. Occasionally he does show a more perceptive side, but most of time everything goes over their head. And I love it.

7. Bree: I will say that these rankings do lean towards the Populars. Which is weird, because the Freaks are my favorite team; I’m rooting for them and love how close they’ve become. Like I said under Will, I feel like it’s a consequence of all the Popular drama of the recent chapter. But they also have just a lot of great characters.

For example, Bree! It’s hard not to love Bree. She has such a fun and bold attitude. Her and Gavin have an amazing friendship; I could read them teasing each other all day. And I ship her and Ramona so hard!

6. Gavin: Right after Bree, it’s Gavin. Same thing about their friendship applies to him. He’s also got such a sweet relationship with Garret and I really enjoy how he just seems to defy a lot of stereotypes, from a popular person, a twin or a gay guy. He feels very fleshed out instead of just a stereotype. He’s really socially smart, so he’s excelling at this game. In the back of mind though, I predict he’s going to have some kind of tragic and or shocking elimination.

5. Ramona: Who doesn’t love Ramona? Even if she isn’t your favorite, it’s hard to not like her. She’s just so well meaning and sweet. She’s a goody two shoes but it’s poked fun of and honestly not a bad thing. She still has a lot of interesting drama and great character moments, including talking with Lyla, her friendship with Gavin and her ship tease with Bree. She was the only one on her team that really felt bad for Veronica...and that doesn’t end well. I also just enjoy her exploring her sexuality, which feels very real.

4. Garret: I remember some old Jordan Sparks song about wanting a shy boy. Not that relevant except I enjoy shy characters and Garret is a cutie. I love his interactions between him and his twin, it does feel like real siblings with a good relationship, but it’s not boring just because it’s good. I love his friendship with Quinn, Casey and Peter (RIP). Honestly, all the Freaks interactions so far have been interesting. I also enjoy his shiptease...

3. Quinn: I love Quinn. She’s full of great sarcasm, has great friendships and relationships and an interesting story. She just works great for different interactions between characters. She still has her own issues with her condition, she’s slowly acknowledging she can do more like with Peter or calling Violet out. You just know it's a good scene if Quinn is in it.

2. Veronica: I was already enjoying Veronica’s butt monkey status on the Populars and her frenemy status amongst the mean girl trio. Recent events make me feel that she doesn’t deserve to be this high as a person...but like as a character? I really enjoy her. She’s the season’s cockroach; somehow always finding a way to closely survive. Now she’s suddenly got power, she’s reveling in it and I’m reveling in her reveling in it. It was a great twist and I’m a sucker for a new main villain taking over.

1. Britney: I debated between all of the top three, but ultimately I put Britney first because she’s the character that I think I personally enjoy the most. She’s hilarious with her ditzy moments, is adorable and I love the ship tease between her and Garret. But that’s one side of her. I’m also so fascinated by her actions and how she’s playing the game. I’m so curious why she’s downplaying her intelligence here and in life and just how antagonistic she actually is. Both of these aspects just make her the most fascinating character for me at the moment and one that I really look forward to reading.
