So... I'm am admin now eh? It feels just so... well it's honestly not what I expected. Sure as heck I feel a ton of joy with my recent promotion, but besides that I feel the same as ever. Still just regular old Space, but then again it's not like gaining or losing powers really should affect someone. Eh I'm rambling a bit, I'm just sooooo damn happy guys! I just wanted to send thanks to everyone, cause without y'all there wouldn't be this amazing opportunity for me. Now I remember back when I became Featured User I gave this grand thank you to a ton of people. I know if I broke this down into individual thank you's it'd take up paragraph after paragraph, and it'd get really damn sappy. So I just want to thank everyone here as one giant group, y'all have helped me in so many ways it's unbelieveable. Now I know there are specific people who've helped me in more ways than I can even think of, but those are thank you's I've given in the past as well. In a way you could perhaps say, "Nothing would be gained by repeating it here."
Kinda Contradicting Myself[]
Now I know I just said I wouldn't thank people individualy for what they've done for me on the wiki... but this isn't wiki related. This transcends the wiki and touches more... personal matters. Indi and Reddy... you two have just done a lot for me in this regard. You two have heard me out when I've had... issues. Reddy, you even kept me from quitting the wiki not so long ago, and settled my unfounded paranoia. And yes, for everyone that doesn't know, I did almost quit back in early January. I was going through a ton of personal issues, issues that I'm still dealing with (hence my random spurts of inactivity during all of January and the first half of this month). However I'm reigning in all of my issues, so I'll be getting back to my high level of activity soon. I just wanted to thank you two, cause you guys did help me a lot in this time, whether you think you did or not.
Now For Those Announcements[]
I've had a few projects in the works on top of what I'm already writing. I kinda need to keep a ton of projects on my plate or else I would never get anything done. As odd as that sounds, it's just kinda how I opperate. I can't just focus on one thing, I have to have like four or five things to work on or else I get intense writers block and can't do anything. So yeah of course there's Relocated, still my central peice. I have a Pokemon based collab that's in the works with Indi which'll hopefully have it's first chapter done in a week or so. I have the second chapter of the Wiki Project, which has been eating a lot of my attention. I hope to have that up in the next week as well... although with my scatterbrained thinking process it could take two. Sorry if I dissapoint anyone with that news. I also have the Wiki Awards going on, and the second blog should be up today for that. Besides that I have a few small ideas that're getting turned into small peices. Yeah, I'm keeping myself busy. This is all on top of my school work as well, and it's remarkable to me I can even balance this that well XD.
Oh and on a seperate note, I've received confirmation on the status of my going on the mission trip. For those who may not know, I signed up for a mission trip to Venezuela through my college. The only factor that could've kept me from this trip is my current medical condition. Now also for those who may not know or remember, I had my kneecap split in two during a game (division III college football for those who don't know me at all) last season (aka the 2013 season). This injury is still bothering me and it was a major concern for my doctor. After going through a thorough examination, he's deemed that what I'd be doing could be too much for my knee to handle in it's current, and apparently still not fully healed, state. He gave his professional opinion that if I go, there's a decent chance I may re-injur my knee to a greater extent. Now I could go even without his blessing, but I've decided to play it safe. I'd rather not have my football playing, or at it's worst walking, days over because of a mishap down there. So since I'm not going I won't be taking a one month hiatus from the wiki, which I suppose is honestly a good thing. I wouldn't want to just disappear after recieving adminship.
But yeah, once again thanks to eveyone for all that you guys have done for me. It means the world that y'all have been so awesome to me.
