I feel that I possibly have given heavy hints that people would be retunring around the time of the merge. While I am still neither confirming or shooting down the idea, I am wondering as of yet if there are any characters that have sailed away that people would be interested in seeing again. I realize that there's still four people to eliminate, I just want to see about those who are already gone. I don't think I'll do a poll when the Final Ten happens, I doubt my story's popular enough to get a good number of votes going. So, is there anybody thats gone that anyone thinks or wants to return? (And, this will most likely be the largest amount of fan influence in the whole story....probably.)

Well, Charlie and Quinn turned out to be the ones returning. Quinn was always going to return, but Charlie almost didn't. Gerald would have retunred instead, as I thought up a working storyline. Gerald's storyline would have been....
Chris reviews the eliminated campers, and selects Quinn and Gerald to return, because they seemed like the least-improved campers, and would cause the most drama. In the first chapter of the merge, Gerald would be the crazy, freaky kid he was in the beginning. This almost gets him eliminated, but instead Laura is eliminated for being an athletic threat. (As she almost won the challenge, but lost to Reese). In the second chapter of the merge, Gerald would be confronted by Zuma and Steven as to why he is so jittery and nervous. Gerald would explain that he has had a fear of dying ever since he was involved in a car accident at a young age. From this chapter on, Gerald would bond with Zuma and Steven, who would gradually help him with his fear, eventually allowing him to get his problem almost completely under control. Gerald would eventually be eliminated again in the fifth chapter of the merge, after having an outburst after another near-death accident. While Zuma and Steven fight to keep him in the competition, the other campers vote him out. He departs on friendly terms with Steven and Zuma, telling them that he'll be rooting for the both of them.
