As you guys may know, the Read About is going right now! Which is going fantastic! I just need to get a few more tests in before I post the results. I told two people I'd try to record their test today before 7:00 est. If they don't, then it is their loss.
Now, I've had this proposal for a while now and I've been absolutely DYING to get it out. Lately, I've been going on Tengaged all the time. Most of you know what it is but if you don't I'll give you a brief description. Tengaged is an online game that lets everyone play and participate in a reality social site based on Big Brother games and reality Survivor games. There are many types of games but what I'm trying to get to is if we could have a wiki game! It'd be of the classic Castings game. But, it'd only be exclusive to the wiki. There would be a timeframe that everyone would have to join the game by so we don't get any non-wiki members.

A Castings game works like this:
Each Casting game has 20 participants and lasts 7 days approximately. Every 12 hours one of the contestants will be evicted from the contest and so on until only 4 people are playing, who will be the finalists. The game algorithm will automatically determine who is the winner based on all that has happened in the past. Your goal is to last as much as possible in the game without being evicted, the better your final position will be the more T$ and karma you will get.
Nominations and Votes.
From the second day contest, some of the contestants will have a small question mark under their avatar. This symbol indicates that they are nominated. The other contestants have the chance to vote and give 3, 2 and 1 point to three of the nominees. Every day there is a recount and that nominee with the most votes will be evicted from the game. You must try not to be nominated but if you are, it is recommended to be active and friendly with your companions (the other contestants) so that they give you the lowest possible number of points and can thus save you from eviction.
How are nominees selected?
Every day a new list of nominees can be formed by 2,3 or 4 contestants (depending on the remaining number of contestants). If 4 contestants are nominated, 2 of them will be evicted, otherwise only 1 of them is evicted. An algorithm chooses the nominees and takes into account the score in the competitions, the number of votes that you had to your posts and if you've been able to find any key during the game. All these variables will allow the algorithm to select the list of nominees.
Key: Each day new random keys appear in the message area. Click on the key every time you see one, because it will help you to get out of the block (even with a bad score in the mini-competitions).
Apple: Each day new random apples are appear in the message area. By clicking on them you will increase your health level and once the game is finished your health will be increased based on the number of apples that you could find during the game (unless you get 1st position, cause health will get to full 100%). Do not forget that health is very important if you want to participate in contests such as Survivor.
Points: Your activity is important in the game, but even more is that your friends have voted some of your messages in a positive way. It is important to occasionally get positive feedback for any comments you have made. Note that it is better to have multiple people give you some positive votes rather than having a single contestant voting positively all your messages, as the algorithm takes into account the total number of different contestants who have voted for you from time to time (the points are accumulated every hour approximately). Try to avoid "spamming" (send many messages in a row) as this will affect negatively or you can even be directly evicted from the competition.
Mini Games
Every day there is a mini competition you will have to play. The time available to do this competition ( or "bonus multiplier") depends on your activity in the game. Try to get the highest possible score as it is one of the parameters used by the algorithm (along with the keys and points) to select the nominees.

1st- 25Karma, 20T$ (Karma is what you need to collect to obtain and buy a higher level. T$ are money and you use T$ to get into certain games and to buy stuff.)
2nd- 10K, 16T$
3rd- 9K, 14T$
4th- 8K, 10T$
5th- 7K, 9T$
6th- 6K, 8T$
7th- 5K, 7T$
8th- 4K, 6T$
9th- 3K, 5T$
10th- 2K, 4T$
11th- 1K, 3T$
12th/13th- 0K, 2T$
14th-20th - Nothing

I hope we can do this and if only 15 sign up then we'll just do a Fastings that takes an hour or less depending on how many inactives there are. Castings takes a week but does not require that much time.
