I intend to continue Stormy Weather. It's just real life and other things have put off progress on it the last two years. But I do intend to update it soon. Nashwalker (talk) 20:16, July 30, 2014 (UTC)
Hello, Rhonda! Thanks! :D xD Glad we can work together now. :P
As for TD:TA, sadly, we won't continue it. But it'd be better to wait for Mana's reply so he can confirm it. 02:15, July 31, 2014 (UTC)
Hi Rhonda! I could swear Amazon was deleted already, we are unfortunately not continuing it. Guess it'll go to the heap of unfinished collabs; a pity :( Manatee12 "I wish my heart was as cold as the morning dew but it's as warm as saxophones and honey in the sun for you." 02:44, July 31, 2014 (UTC)
Episode 3 Review Up And Running!
Total Drama Idiots is going to eventually be published. However, I think I'll probably finish the rest of it because of the lack of the writing team. But, IDK if we could have like 2 other people join us, then I'd want to have our writing team back. I'm not sure when I'll write again as I'm taking a personal break from this wiki. I just needed some time away but I plan to eventually finish all of the stories I set out to do (the Idiots series and my mystery trilogy). --Webly. ~ Talk to me if you want. ~ Check my blog for news. 19:31, August 4, 2014 (UTC)
Hi Rhonda! I remember you told me you wanted to exchange points for a drawing of mine, but I can't find your request anywhere in the Wiki, did you send it already? If not you can put it on my talk page, I'm at my parent's house this weekend and can draw ^^ Manatee12 "I wish my heart was as cold as the morning dew but it's as warm as saxophones and honey in the sun for you." 17:19, August 8, 2014 (UTC
Here's your request! You know Jovi is my favorite, but I couldn't quite figure her style, so I went with Barbie. Hope you like it! (also hope my time without drawing isn't showing in my art >_<) Manatee12 "I wish my heart was as cold as the morning dew but it's as warm as saxophones and honey in the sun for you." 17:26, August 9, 2014 (UTC)
Thanks, Rhonda, I'm glad you liked it! At first I was going for a lighter look on her, like summer clothes, and I thought it went well with her smiling. When I had this other outfit idea I just screpped that but maintained the smiling face just becauase... I liked the idea of her smiling, she looked cute XD Manatee12 "I wish my heart was as cold as the morning dew but it's as warm as saxophones and honey in the sun for you." 21:42, August 9, 2014 (UTC)
A couple of tidbits to follow up on my latest review of TDWTH: First, I may have told you a bit of a story. There is actually one case where it might be OK to use leading ellipses, and that's when a paragraph break splits a sentence. This is occasionally done (usually in narrative, as opposed to dialogue) for "dramatic pause" effect. I don't actually know whether this usage is correct or not, but I do see it. The other bit is that I forgot to mention a problem in the latest chapter. I don't know whether the error arose because they're near-homophones or because you simply misheard it (like with "beating/being around the bush" in an earlier chapter) but it's "ice floe", not "ice float". Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Sing me your song, O! A wandering minstrel, I-- 23:22, August 9, 2014 (UTC)
Yes, I noticed that you've started the revisions, but I don't think "reboot" is the right word. It's more a revamp of the sort that Lilac has been doing with her story. I also saw the "giant lamprey" bit. By the by, you misspelled "lamprey" in the Trivia, although the spelling in the story is correct.
On a peripherally related note, Frank has started a 3-cast competition story, called Total Drama 52, on fanfiction.net. The most recent chapter (Chapter 4) includes a shout out to TDWTH. (Naturally, it involves breaking the Fourth Wall.) When Katie defeats Shawn in a challenge battle, this exchange ensues:
- Shawn stuck his head out from under the water. "What the heck?!"
- Sierra shook her head. "That's a different story."
TDPI Review 4 / TDAmerica Episode 9
My TDPI Review of Episode 4 is out, along with the end of Episode 9 to finish the episode after over a year of waiting. Also, I wanted to discuss. About Steven. You see, if I actually go through making a story about you, and Rebecca Sugar lashes out at me for using one of her characters, I'll need a backup plan. That is why, if the Steven plan is auto-kicked, I have found an alternate plan.
You heard of the show Danny Phantom and its main character? You see, in this alternate arc, there could be significantly less episodes, considering Danny's actions are much more urgently needed in his universe than Steven's in his, but there will still be scenes like the visit to the doomed Earth (where Danny has to force the world into a brief ghosting until the effects pass) and the abduction for his powers. In this case, Danny would still be knocked out, and maybe have some form of recollection of his travels, but Rhonda would still have to carry him home with the added bonus of warding off another baddie until Danny recovers. So there's the backup plan, and hope you like my new signature. Rhonda and I were conspiring to take down the government. (Talk | Blogs | Contributions) 20:51, August 15, 2014 (UTC)
Hey, Redvivor is going to start very soon if you're on :P Baaaangin' on a kettle drum won't make you notice me, though you're bored beyond belief 23:54, August 16, 2014 (UTC)
Speaking of the last comment I left, maybe I should rework Episode 9. We have the current state, but we should also have a Danny version, and a version with you and whatever-companion cut out. Then we can have alternate versions of the same chapter that anyone can choose! Rhonda and I were conspiring to take down the government. (Talk | Blogs | Contributions) 20:27, August 17, 2014 (UTC)
P.S. Notify me when you're on chat.
If you want to thank Frank, fanfiction.net allows guest reviews (you can use a name or not) but you'd need an account to PM him. Frank should be at least briefly coming back to the wiki in the next couple of months, because I've notified him via PM that TD Shopping Centre needs a new chapter by Halloween or it will be considered dead. It hasn't had an update in 2 years. He's stated his intent to continue it, but he's on his 2nd extension and we don't normally grant a third. By the bye, I put up a blog post about LTDI's status which hardly anyone appears to have noticed. (Disappointing, but not surprising.) Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Sing me your song, O! I saw your changes in the TDWTH Trivia, and I was curious as to why you're changing all the internal links to full URLs. For a couple of reasons, it's better to use internal markup when you can. Full-URL links don't show up on the "What Links Here" report, and a broken full-URL link will remain blue, so you can't spot them. (And you still don't link to Legacy when you mention it in the Trivia. I'm depressed.) On an unrelated note, I've added a status update to my status update blog. Episode 6 Review!
In record time, I've issued the review for the sixth episode of Pahkitew Island. We cover future selves, self-deprecation, ALS, and an 'epic' cameo. And a whole lot more. This is probably one of the most questionable things I had ever done before. (Talk | Blogs | Contributions) 05:15, August 25, 2014 (UTC)
Just thought of an episode idea for your story. In a universe where the DPRK controls the entire Korean peninsula, Kim Jung Il had ordered the genetic modification of a newborn baby to create the world's first supersoldier, and Kim Jung Un introduces her to the public and to the Kim dynasty. I haven't figured out what her given name would be, but maybe you can take a guess at what this universe's Western media has nicknamed her. She would be serve as an officer of the highest rank, taking down the toughest of conspirators, before she would be given an even greater duty... This is probably one of the most questionable things I had ever done before. (Talk | Blogs | Contributions) 04:49, August 27, 2014 (UTC)

Well, of course, LTDI's interns make the list! Why do you think I suggested it?? Long Time No Talk
So last night, I had a dream where Scarlett and I were looking for twelve books that seem to have some special property when united...
But anyway, I was thinking about a book that one of the characters would soon have (later in the story) and thought about how I made subliminal connections between it and the journal from Gravity Falls, and I thought about maybe giving another few characters another few books throughout the TDJER series. (The Twelve Books of Franken-Stine. Thumbs-up if you get the reference.) Somehow and over time, each book would be claimed by a contestant, and over time, only one will be left standing. (I don't know how, but it'll be written as I come to it.) Any thoughts? Future Me hates me. I hate Past Me. It's generational hate. (Talk | Blogs | Contributions) 16:39, November 2, 2014 (UTC)
To answer your questions about episode 4, Nova freed Vivi by accident. And it's implied that both of them somehow disappeared like Creed/Allister did, but that's up to speculation. And yeah, as I admit, the whole gun theme was a bit iffy; I didn't know what I was thnking two years ago. (It could be that Wayne fell for the war facade, but now that I think about it, that may be too dark a theme to carry out.) And as for Triskadel, I put in a reference to the 2010 Chilean mine collapse, if you spotted it.
Also, I've figured out a bit more about the 12 books that will hopefully add on in the TDJER series, but as of now, I hope you finish up on updating the character reviews and reading Episode 5. Future Me hates me. I hate Past Me. It's generational hate. (Talk | Blogs | Contributions) 08:23, November 8, 2014 (UTC)
I don't know how often you go to TV Tropes, but I've left you a couple of PMs there in the last two weeks. Yes, I should really have been working on 18th Night instead, which is now a week late, but you know how it is. I've made progress, but I can't force it. Inspiration tends to come when it comes. If you have an unread PM on TV Tropes, you'll see a green banner informing you of that when you're on the site. For some reason, the banner doesn't seem to appear when you first come to the site (not if you're landing on the home page, anyway) but it should appear when you move to another page within the site. About Episodes 5 and 6 (mainly 6)
I saw your latest comments and updated character rankings, and honestly, I was surprised you liked Episode 6. You see, back in 2011 or 2012, I thought of an idea for a television show based on a made-up video game called "World In Progress", which is basically an open-ended game with intelligent-AI and a whole lot of other kooky and super-advanced things that would take until the next century for the public to normally see.
You could build your own life in these games, but this game has an added emphasis on combat. You see, the game has an added feature that makes it so a skirmish can strike any time anyone wishes for it. It's hard to explain, since I haven't fleshed out the idea, but basically, the world can be a mess due to all these warmongers.
I planned a few seasons of this program and a spin-off series which focused on collecting the thirteen glitches of the game, in which uniting them can allow the owner to hack the game for anything they want. Forien (with a crossed-out "o", because he's Scandinavian in origin) goes a bit beyond that; he wants to gather the thirteen pieces to change the "real world" to "save" it from any more human cataclysm. In order to take over reality, he'd need to form the in-game creations he would dictate into real life, thus the 3D printer aspect comes in.
He's actually a successful businessman in real life, so for his plan to work, he decided to invest in scientific progress, and for that he would get help setting up his own 3D printer. Getting the material for the 3D printer would be tough, until he thought of using the moon itself as the printing material. (Lost yet? Sorry, I have to think this on the fly.) Launching the 3D printer on the moon is easier when you convince the ESA it's a moon rover.
Then, the big events begin. In early July of 2013, Forien gathers all 13 glitches and enables the printer to send a swarm of his VR soldiers to invade Earth. While there, his game self was 3D printed out and it modified his real self, giving him ultimate omnipotence. And thus he altered the Earth into Mesoterra. (And Google Translate isn't 100% reliable for translating Korean into English. And there's the fact that most of original Earth was overwritten, so Google servers wouldn't be accessed anymore...)
And Forien vs Abder (well, Abder was a member of the Secret Strikers from the spin-off series mentioned earlier) would be the final battle... that is, with some help...
It's really my fault for not writing the other story to properly coincide with this one. If the other story was released by the time this one came out, everything would be better understood. I have a nasty habit of wanting to link stories together. (Also, the Consultant's closing message was to signal the next season of the "World In Progress: Secret Strikers" series. Again, sorry about that.)
As for Episode 5, I'm surprised you know what Magic Tree House is, though you did forget to catch the also-in-there Dragon Tales reference. (Which maybe I should modify?) The pizza restaurant is a mobile building, only comes on weekends, and changes its theme every weekend. And if you miss the hint-hint-wink-winks, it's also a Weekenders reference. And yes, there will be more loser segments. (And there was a DW reference in Episode 6; spot it.)
As I said before, it's been a while since I first started the story, so I'm a bit rusty on how the story goes. But later on, we have the episode that one reviewer said made Stymie a hated character, the episode that would change the cast even more so than usual, and the episode with you and Steven. (And honestly, I have little hopes for Episode 9. I didn't try to saturate too much of a separate story into the new chapter as I had in Episode 6, but someone still said Episode 9 was among the worst. Surprisingly, so was Episode 8. But Episode 10, it seems you'll be right on the money.)
Any questions you want asking, please send me a message. Future Me hates me. I hate Past Me. It's generational hate. (Talk | Blogs | Contributions) 07:24, November 12, 2014 (UTC)

A bit more to say...
Yes, I know, something happened to the comment you were going to post. I've grown to expect much. I was recently thinking about your comment concerning the character bios, and you do have a point; by trying to make the OC pages as close to those given to the TD characters on the mother wiki (not to be confused with the Earthbound Wiki), I've set up an easy way to unintentionally spoil someone. In that case, I hope to make audition tapes for all 24 contestants and post the result at the beginning of the Total Drama America page. I should also consider creating a spoiler template, because really. We need one. I hate spoilers.
Also, I hope maybe to one day... send you something. I can't talk about it much here (because believe me, high talk page activity prompts some raised eyebrows, and believe me, I know firsthand), but I'd think it would be a good step for Operation Hint-Hint-Wink-Wink. Come see me on chat soon. Future Me hates me. I hate Past Me. It's generational hate. (Talk | Blogs | Contributions) 16:04, November 22, 2014 (UTC)
UPDATE: Finished writing about 9 of the 24 character audition tapes, and will post them when all 24 are available. Those included so far are Allister, Nova, Frazier, Wayne, Paisely, Ryan, Naomi, Creed, and Ester. Also working on that spoiler template. Future Me hates me. I hate Past Me. It's generational hate. (Talk | Blogs | Contributions) 01:45, November 24, 2014 (UTC)
UPDATE 2: Halfway there. Just finished up for Earnest, Cheryl, and Dominique. Also, added a few references to pop culture. See if you can catch them once I release this there. Future Me hates me. I hate Past Me. It's generational hate. (Talk | Blogs | Contributions) 05:27, November 24, 2014 (UTC)
UPDATE 3: Spoiler template finished. Though it's kinda generic, it can be used by anyone for any story on the wiki. ...Unfortunately, while posting this message, I unearthed a five-year-old spoiler template left by the great Nalyd Renrut, which I haven't noticed before because it wasn't in the template category. (Man, what oversight. Am I right?) Now I have to figure out what to do with it...
As for the audition tapes, I'm stuck on Vivi at this point (it had to be Vivi). I have no idea how her tape will play out. Also, yeah there were a series of pics I saw a while back, and I have an idea on how to add to that, but half of me says "no, you're better than this". Well, I'll figure that out when I come to it. Hope to see you in chat soon.
Future Me hates me. I hate Past Me. It's generational hate. (Talk | Blogs | Contributions) 08:14, November 25, 2014 (UTC)
UPDATE 4: Finished audition tapes for Vivi and Iana. The only problem is, when I compare Iana's audition tape (made by her mother, by the way) to her confessional in the first episode, it seems to conflict,
In the audition tape, Iana's mother says that Iana wants to keep to herself due to her knowing that she can't be as good as her brothers, but in the confessional, Iana says she's left out of the social aspect of school. Maybe it's that Iana caused the second bit herself through isolationism or that she's lying out of guilt for what she's done? Then again, this messes up Iana as a whole because as you said, Naomi wants to study her. (epiphany) Or maybe this doesn't conflict. Rhonda, pardon me while I burst into flames. I've figured more of her out just by writing this message.
Also, it turns out we're keeping both spoiler templates. See you soon. Future Me hates me. I hate Past Me. It's generational hate. (Talk | Blogs | Contributions) 06:18, November 26, 2014 (UTC)

UPDATE 6: Okay, so I haven't been working on my audition tapes for a while. I had to write a few final essays for college. You understand. Anyway, when I did write for Total Drama America recently, I wrote a bit concerning the transition from Episode 18 to Episode 19, as well as a pivotal point in Episode 21 (aka 'The Final Episode'). And I was thinking of using Patreon to get people to help me order commissions for character pics and scenes for my story. Might as well give it a shot. I'm not looking to profit from this story, anyway. (Note: Maybe you should subscribe to better justify the fact that I'm posting messages like Mark Zuckerberg to the Winklevosses that December in Harvard. Just a thought.) (P.S. I have this scene I need to show you for the upcoming Weekend Special. It should be good.)

Happy New Year! Well, not quite yet, but what's a few hours between friends? That's as may be, I've made a bulk addition to LTDI's main tropes pages. I've added about 70 new tropes, bringing the main page's total to over 430, and I've also added additional examples to several previously listed tropes. Most of the additions are from the deer hunt and trust challenges (14th-18th Nights), but there's also a handful from the cooking challenge and a fair amount of infill from earlier chapters. UPDATE 10: Hi, it's JER again. I noticed you stopped by recently. Why not send a message?
Anyway, my life has been going on okay. I plan to make a few YouTube review videos on my free time from school. Hopefully one comes out by the end of the month. Hopefully. But TDPI reviews aren't going so well. Still writing Episode 9. Also watched something that disturbed me so much that I've resorted to taking large swaths of Giffany to drown out the taste of Stevonnie in my mouth. (TWO-REFERENCE COMBO!!)
Yeah, that episode... it broke me.

Update on Story
I had to massively re-edit Episodes 6 and 9. (Sorry, Rhonda and Steven won't be in the story. It's better for the story this way.) These two chapters will be the only two that experience such major revisions. Minor ones will be underway soon, as to get rid of some forced moments that did not need to be there.
But I hope you give me a response soon. I know you stop by. I find Gem Fusions completely incomprehensible. (Yes I had to modify a formerly-used signature.) (Talk | Blogs | Contributions) 00:08, May 6, 2015 (UTC)
Hi, Rhonda, I hope this message find you well. If you're still reading LTDI, I posted 20th Night a couple of weeks ago. I miss your long reviews, and I must admit I was disappointed when you didn't drop by the wiki either during the holidays or when school let out. I hope you haven't left us for good. (JER hugs Rhonda)
Oh my goodness you're back you're back you're back my half-birthday wish came true you're back you're back EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE--
(cut to next slide)
It is such a relief to see you back here again. I thought someone hacked your account or you died or something. I missed you so much. But anyway, yeah. A lot has happened while you were gone. I haven't sent you a message since May, so there's a lot to cover.
First off, yes, I finished Episode 13 of Star vs the Forces of Evil, and that episode was as confusing as it was disappointing. I was curious as to the Toffee arc, but it let me down a bit in the end.
Also, another critical issue lies in Steven's show. (Do I even need to name it?) I haven't watched anything after Episode 67 (the one with the ship in the Amazon) and I was afraid to go even further. Someone told me that the past six episodes changed everything, and that creeps me out even more. (Side note: I have the Guide to the Crystal Gems right here with me. Why do I feel so ashamed?) The point is, I'm seriously considering not watching any more, but it frightens me because I have no one to turn to about this. First Stevonnie, then Garnet, and then so much else... And I can't forget any of this, because that's not how traumatized brains work, and I don't know how to stop all this madness, and I really want to move on but I don't know how. I don't have many friends these days...
Also speaking of...
Last August, I left the wiki. Which is why you can't find Total Drama America anymore. I didn't know how to write a good story, and my creative writing class didn't help me at all. I decided therefore to scrap all the stories I had on this wiki and try again with a new idea called Daring Summer Days. (You can ask me about it anytime.) The problem is I didn't know where to get help, and no one on the wiki could help me, so I left the wiki... before I came back just recently.
(You know, this would be a lot more poetic if you came just when I was about to leave or even as the reason for me coming back. Just saying.)
I'd really really really like to talk to you again. I'd love to share my DSD ideas and the Eurovision Song Contest and Rhonda's Joyride and so much more with you. Please let me know when you're on chat. I really need a break from all this pain.

It's not like TDAmerica is gone forever. I have everything I had so far saved to my OneDrive, so I can link what you missed. Also, the thing about fusions is more about what even happens to you when you're in one. I can't figure it out, and it got worse when Steven being in one didn't clear anything up. But anyway, whenever we meet on chat, I can share you what you want. "She's a butcher with a smile, cut me farther than I've ever been..." (Talk | Blogs | Contributions) 04:53, October 18, 2015 (UTC)
21st Night is up. It's "make love, not war" as the boot camp challenge concludes. Trust me, this chapter is a shipper's dream. It seems that Ella's singing has aphrodisiac properties under the right conditions...
I presume you were also gone from TV Tropes during your hiatus from this wiki. I left you a PM last spring, I think. Speaking of TV Tropes, I'm preparing a bulk addition of about 40 tropes to LTDI's main page, and I recently added a section for Dawn to the Characters page. Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! I saw your 18th Night commentary, although I haven't had a chance to respond yet. (I got out of the habit of responding when nobody but my DW was leaving reviews). A special event on fanfiction.net has also left me with a lot of reviews to respond to there, although my stories don't otherwise get many reviews there, either. (Seriously, a Top 1% hit with 90 favorites that gets only four reviews per chapter? What's up with that?) That's as may be, you may have noticed that I've added five new videos to the Character Theme Songs section. The new videos are for Chef Hatchet (recycled from TDI-G&S), Beth, Eva, Katie and Noah (also G&S, but not the same song I used for his TDI-G&S theme). Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Since every day when I wake up to head to class (4 am.) you're here, working away on your adorable story, and creating your characters and building your world.... In the course of reading the TDG character pages, I’ve come across some mostly mechanical errors you may want to correct:
- In Rhonda’s TDG update, you say, in pertinent part, “help farther her career”. That should be, “help further her career”. The rule is to use “farther” when dealing with physical distances, and “further” when dealing with abstract concepts.
- Bethany is said to be on her school’s shot put team. Schools don’t have separate shot put teams, because shot putting is a single event within the sport of track & field. As a shot putter, Bethany would therefore be on her school’s track team. On a related note, although you don’t mention Bethany’s age, I’m assuming she’s in college because, to the best of my knowledge, high school sports don’t have national playoffs/tournaments/meets/whatever.
- Ness’ writeup has a strange reference to “a wrecking ball manufacturing”. I’m guessing you meant “malfunctioning”? I also fixed a typo on her page. (You needed the adverb, “badly” instead of the adjective, “bad”.)
- Xidorn’s label (“The Altruist”) doesn’t really seem to fit. An altruist is one who is selflessly devoted to the welfare of others, and I’m not really seeing that in his bio. To fit the label, there needs to be more about how he helps others without regard for what might be in it for him. Also, the line, “He’s also an open supporter or advocate of many causes he seems race” is confusing. I’m not sure what you’re trying to say, but I’m guessing that “race” isn’t the word you’re looking for.
Yes, "Straight Shooter" sounds like a better fit for Xidorn. As for Bethany, track and field doesn't use the word "division" that way. "Regionals" is fine, but may not mean what you think it means. Regional meets/tournaments are actually a lower level than State. How much lower may vary, but in my State (Colorado) it's one level down. In other words, the top X number of teams from each regional meet/tournament qualify for the State meet/tournament, so Bethany's "regionals champion" team would also be a State qualifier. Although various high school sports do have national polls, a State championship is the higest you can get by actually playing other teams.
I just had another thought: you may have been confusing high school sports with club sports, some of which do have national playoffs/meets/whatever. I don't know if track & field is one of those. Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Sing me your song, O! A wandering minstrel, I-- 00:41, October 26, 2015 (UTC)
It looks like you finished 19th Night just in time to miss a missing note I added for that chapter. The note deals with how I foreshadowed the identity of the "Diamond Maid". Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Sing me your song, O! A wandering minstrel, I-- 07:03, October 26, 2015 (UTC)

It's not a bad attempt. I'm not sure what you'd think of it, so please let me know. (I wanted to show you this when you got back, but the thought escaped me until I started reading your story. Go figure.)

I have no idea what to say. I don't want to die, and these dangerous ideas of demanding social change are going to get us killed. I wrote a letter to Reddy about this, and he still doesn't understand what's going on. I fear you'd also not understand, but I'm telling you about the letter anyway because at this point I'm really concerned about our friendship. I feel as this talk about changing social norms is going to be the end of us. No movie or show I watched was ever about social minorities, so why make it so? Why try to make meaning out of nothing? What's the idea of all this? It's making me hate the idea of changing media, even more so than New York City. (And I never thought I would hate anything more than New York City.) I have to ask, as a member of a minority group, should I be concerned for my life right now? "Let's try it again and say goodbye, goodbye to yesterday." (Talk | Blogs | Contributions) 06:45, November 1, 2015 (UTC)
I never said I was prejudiced against LGBT people; in fact, I'm okay with them getting rights. It's how activists of any minority get them that leads to problems. Whenever a minority speaks up against a majority, they get shut down, and I don't want to be in the crossfire of something like that.
Honestly, I am shocked. I thought we could have resolved any conflicts between each other should they arise. You didn't even msg me in PM about this. And to think I was going to make a story around you. "Let's try it again and say goodbye, goodbye to yesterday." (Talk | Blogs | Contributions) 03:25, November 2, 2015 (UTC)
And before I leave...
I wanted to share this song with you. Just this one. If it does anything for you, more power to you. I think it's sweet. But then again, my opinions are worthless in this world.
Maybe I'll see you again somewhere else.

Milestone alert: Because a new competition story with character pages takes a lot of edits early on, you're approaching 4,000. Speaking of said story, I'm sorry I haven't been able to get to it yet, but I've got a lot on my plate right now, including a big deadline related to my sports photography. I have a smaller reading deadline on fanfiction.net, as well as a lot of stuff which doesn't have to be done by a specific date but which I've been putting off for too long. Genesis is on my agenda, though, never fear. For the last week during my lunch hours, I've been preparing responses to your and Wifey's reviews of 18th Night and 19th Night. I'm expecting to get at least the 18th Night responses posted on Sunday. By the by, I recently sent you a private test message. Did you get it? Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! I tried to e-mail you using the address you gave Zac. I figured that would give us a private avenue in case we ever had reason to discuss things too sensitive to discuss on our talk pages. (Things involving potential spoilers for our stories, for example.) We do have the PM client on TV Tropes, but I don't know how often you go there. In any case, I'll try again. On the off chance that you don't already know, I've posted my responses to your and Wifey's 19th Night reviews. In breaking news, I have just made a bulk tropes addition, adding 15 entries (if memory serves) to LTDI's Characters page, including a new section for Ella. Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Sing me your song, O! A wandering minstrel, I-- 04:53, November 23, 2015 (UTC)
Most reviewers don't routinely reply to replies, so if you don't, then it's no big deal. (If you do, though, then so much the better.) By the by, feel free to e-mail me if you want an early answer regarding your theory on Chris is giving Gwen special treatment--unless, of course, that's the subject of your planned WMG entry. On a related note, I do have Reasonable Authority figure on my list of tropes for Chef, but I haven't posted that to the Characters page yet because my writeup for that trope rests in part on something that doesn't happen until after the eating challenge, i.e. two or three chapters down the road. As for Ella's new section, I previously dropped you a hint that, as of 19th Night, she's just getting warmed up. Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Sing me your song, O! ~~Hi, can you help me with Mike's saviour. If you can, I would appreciate it.~~
It took rather longer than I expected, but I have finally made the promised bulk tropes addition to LTDI's main page: 53 new examples and 48 new tropes in three batches, increasing that page's examples list by about 10 percent. Roughly 2/3 of the new examples pertain to the last three chapters (19th-21st Nights, covering the end of the trust challenge through the beginning of the extreme sports challenge) with the rest being infill for earlier chapters. LTDI's main page now has 485 tropes and 561 total examples. Yes, I'm nothing if not thorough and seriously in need of a life. Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Sing me your song, O! Hi, Rhonda. Long time, no see. Sadly, I still haven't read Genesis, mainly because I wanted to get 22nd Night posted first, and ... two months later, that bloody chapter still isn't finished. I know what I want to happen in the unwritten sections, but I just haven't been able to get motivated to actually sit down and write it. Now that basketball season is over, maybe I can finally buckle down and get it done. I've strung you along for far too long already, both with your story and with mine. If I didn't know you were still behind on LTDI, I would have suggested that perhaps the reason we didn't hear from you for two months is because it took that long for you to recuperate from the latest chapter's nuclear ship teasing overload, but that's as may be.
Here's something that might interest you: two days ago the missus and I were in Colorado Springs for a basketball game, and we met up with a couple of my fanfiction.net forum peeps who live there. (I first met them in December, but Wifey was meeting them for the first time. In a mid-sized city like Colorado Springs, there's no way we would have found each other if we hadn't planned it in advance. The forum gang has a fourth Colorado person, Michelle, who goes by the username abbreviation "Pika" on the forum, is a high school sophomore if memory serves. (Fourth, not fifth, because Wifey doesn't have a fanfiction.net account, although she used to read a lot of Stargate SG-1 fanfiction.) Pika lives in the Denver area, just as we do, although she's in the northern suburbs and we're in the western. We met her just after New Year's: https://twitter.com/espurr_roba/status/683399830182334465/photo/1
I mentioned the high-octane ship teasing in 21st Night shortly after you returned last fall. You suggested at the time, based on what I told you, that the readers might be learning about Brett's "origins" sooner than they thought. Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Sing me your song, O! I skimmed TDG's tropes page, and I regret to inform you that I found significant problems, mostly concerning proper example context. I will shortly be sending you an e-mail with more details because I don't want you to get in trouble with the mods, and for about a year now they've been cracking down on people who post "zero context examples".
LTDI recently hit a milestone, and I may post a blog about it this weekend. I've also assigned several more character theme songs--one of the things I've done instead of, you know, actually working on my story--and I will likely reveal those in the same blog. We'll see if anyone actually cares. The viewing stats on the character themes and in-story videos I already have suggest that most people aren't interested in the videos anymore.
As I recall, you're currently two chapters behind on LTDI, so I look forward to your reviews. Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Sing me your song, O! A wandering minstrel, I-- 06:27, March 10, 2016 (UTC)
I reread your old blog comment on my 17th Night update, since you made several other songs suggestions. While most didn't fit LTDI's cast as well as other things, some are actually excellent fits for canon characters. For example, "Perfect Isn't Easy" from Oliver and Company, which you suggested as a possible song for Heather, strikes me as a better fit for (human) Dakota. "Maria" from The Sound of Music strikes me as a good fit for Izzy. (I've chosen a theme for LTDI Izzy, but certain events must come to pass in the story before my choice will make sense.) Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Sing me your song, O! A wandering minstrel, I-- 06:38, March 16, 2016 (UTC)
I did see your new WMG theories. I fixed some technical tidbits and a factual error that doesn't impair the theory. (To wit, although californium can be used to help start nuclear reactors, it's not used as fuel because it's simply not available in that kind of quantity.) Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Hi Rhonda. Sorry about the lack of, well anything. I'm in my final year of High School and am making exceptionally slow progress on my series, but I am still working on it. :)
That was me by the way. About Total Drama Into the Wild. Don't delete it. -TaylorManton1
Now that 22nd Night is finally posted, I have finally started reading Genesis. I'm mostly through the player intros, so you should have at least one review from me this weekend. I'll address the more technical matters by e-mail. Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Sing me your song, O! A wandering minstrel, I-- 23:02, April 7, 2016 (UTC)
So, I didn't get a Genesis review up last weekend as I had hoped. On the brighter side, I did read the first three TDG chapters (i.e. Episode 1) over the past week, making notes as I went. Now, I just have to assemble the story notes into a coherent review or three, and the mechanical/technical notes into a coherent e-mail. For now, suffice to say you're off to a promising start. Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Sing me your song, O! A wandering minstrel, I-- 20:15, April 16, 2016 (UTC)
A while back we were discussing character theme songs, and you agreed that "Perfect Isn't Easy" from Oliver and Company would be, er, perfect for the human Dakota, but you said you couldn't think of one for Dakotazoid. Well, I've got one. The theme song for the 1966 cartoon, King Kong fits not only Dakotazoid's monstrous physique ("ten times as big as a man" actually fits Dakotazoid better than Kong, who is more like ten times as tall as a man), but also her fame mongering as a human ("you know the name/ you know the fame") her relationship with Sam ("a boy ... who made a friend of this ... creature") and the TDROTI venue ("their island home"). Check it out], and see if you don't agree. Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Sing me your song, O! A wandering minstrel, I-- 23:33, May 3, 2016 (UTC)
This is mainly a formality because you're still a few chapters behind, but 23rd Night is posted. The game reaches its midpoint, but Episode 13 obviously can't end without someone dying. Speaking of stories, I sent you an e-mail a couple of days ago concerning my progress on TD Genesis. <minor spoiler alert> Dakota will not appear in LTDI because she is already dead. A later chapter will identify her as one of the two interns Chris mentioned as having been killed in a construction accident whilst building the dodgeball court. And now that you're back for the summer, I'll have to stop procrastinating and get you your TDG reviews. Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Sing me your song, O! I've made you wait far too long for this, but I've finally started to post reviews for Genesis. You'll find reviews--each longer than the last--for the three premiere episode chapters. I will add more as I find time, but my reading/note taking is up to the Chapter 7 challenge. Speaking of our reading/writing, LTDI's 24th Night is posted with my version of the Brunch of Disgustingness. I'm looking forward to your responses. I also noted certain more technical matters which I'll describe by e-mail, albeit probably not until after the Olympics. As for LTDI, I'm especially looking forward to your comments on 21st Night. (20th Night is the latest chapter you've reviewed to this point.) Knowing what you like in a story, I suspect you'll have a lot to say about the boot camp party and its aftermath.
There are actually two black licorice references in LTDI's version of the Brunch. The use as flavoring, I arrived at independently (great minds thinking alike, as you said) but the "isn't that just one of those stories?" line, which I added at the last minute, was inspired by the Genesis cast's over the top reactions to that fell "food". The TDG Trivia entry acknowledging a certain LTDI reference had a couple of errors. First, you mentioned "refer[ring] to the labors as trials" when you presumably meant it the other way around. (In the first challenge, you called the subchallenges "Labors", not "Trials".) Second, LTDI doesn't do that in the Extreme Sports challenge, nor in any other challenge to date. You were presumably thinking of my stated plan to replace the canonical "No Pain, No Game" challenge with one based on the Labors of Herakles, and my blog post soliciting ideas for said challenge. By the by, I've posted my Chapter 5 review for TDG, although you probably already know that.Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Sing me your song, O! I did indeed forget my signature. Well, it's there now, if a bit out of date, buy that's as may be. Concerning the TDG talk page, you might want to move the polls and guessing games to the top of the page. Now that I've marked my territory, as it were, they are in the middle of the page where they are easily overlooked. Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Sing me your song, O! A wandering minstrel, I-- 05:18, October 10, 2016 (UTC)
I just added a few tropes to TDG's main tropes page. On a related note, I thought of another sensible (and, therefore, probably inappropriate for TDG) choice for "edgy music" in the roller derby challenge: Johann Sebastian Bach's "Tocatta and Fugue in D minor". This baroque-era organ piece fits mainly because it was used for the opening titles of the 1975 film, Rollerball, in which the titular sport is essentially a futuristic and lethal version of roller derby. Given the TD creative team's fondness for shout outs and other allusions, this is the music they would probably use if roller derby ever becomes a canon challenge. Hi, Rhonda, glad to see you're back. Your reemergence reminds me that I never posted my chapter 7 review of TDG, nor responded to your most recent LTDI review (22nd Night, if memory serves) so I'll have to correct those oversights. God, I'm so lazy. That's as may be, several months ago I did read all the available TDG chapters for the sake of simply enjoying the story--and I did enjoy it, lest there be any misunderstanding--with the idea of going back at a later date and rereading for the purpose of composing my reviews. I'll have to get back to that, although my immediate task is to finish my latest LTDI chapter (27th Night), which I am hoping to do this weekend. Episode 15 will be the second episode (episode 11, the trust challenge, was the first) to span portions of four chapters, because the Labors of Heracles challenge is so elaborate.
I also recently got three TD/RR story ideas, two of which will almost certainly never see the light of day because they're so elaborate. I've actually written most of the setup for the third, which I envision as a long one-shot. Look for an e-mail soon, perhaps as early as this evening. Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! It sounds like you eventually took the same approach with LTDI that I eventually took with TDG, i.e. reading once to simply enjoy the story, then reading again to compose point-by-point reviews. As I've mentioned before, that approach has much to recommend it, but the downside is that it's easy to lose track of which chapters you've reviewed and which ones you haven't. That's as may be, I'm looking forward to your comments on the recent chapters, however belated. I'm especially looking forward to hearing your thoughts on Ella, since you liked my treatment of her and her storyline features a twist that I suspect few if any readers saw coming (although one reviewer on fanfiction.net did sort of guess one element of it). Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Sing me your song, O! A wandering minstrel, I-- 14:38, June 13, 2017 (UTC)
ADDENDUM: I must admit I miss you during those long absences, but I certainly understand that your schoolwork has to come first. You mentioned during your junior year of high school (the year you started disappearing for long periods) that you have to pound the books to keep your grades at an acceptable level, and I don't imagine college is any easier. By the by, what's your major? Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Sing me your song, O! A wandering minstrel, I-- 14:57, June 13, 2017 (UTC)
To be honest, it was just another day for me. We don't have kids, and this was my first Father's Day without my father. (As I mentioned at the time, he passed away last November.) That's as may be, now that the immediate task is complete, I intend to get back to my reviewing. I've also been working on updating LTDI's subpages. The Elmination Table page hadn't been updated in a year, although not much has actually changed in that time except intern status, and I'm about three episodes behind on the Brett's Mother character page. Then, LTDI's TV Tropes page has a backlog of over 70 tropes, mostly from the last few chapters. <sigh> Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Sing me your song, O! I saw your note regarding TDG scheduling, so I thought I'd give you my own status update. I expected to have 28th Night up last weekend, which would have made it only one week late, but certain obstacles (mainly sleeping poorly, since sleep deprivation destroys my ability to concentrate on tasks I don't find genuinely engaging) meant I couldn't finish proofreading it in time. (I may have mentioned before that, in addition to being an incorrigible perfectionist, I suspect I may be borderline or mildly OCD, so proofreading is an ordeal for me.) Unless I get hit by the proverbial bus, though, or the site has technical problems, the chapter will definitely be posted next weekend. In the meantime, here are a couple of teasers for you to chew on: the chapter is long enough to require two subheadings, which will be titled "Game of Death" and "The Day the Magic Died".
The Labors of Heraclies challenge--not the whole episode, just the challenge--totals 26,000 words over three chapters. Episode 15 will be the first episode (and, God willing, the last) to span portions of five chapters. Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Sing me your song, O! A wandering minstrel, I-- 06:16, July 18, 2017 (UTC)
I figured that second section title would get your attention, which was of course the point. I see you got your TDG chapter posted, so now the pressure is on me. I've finished proofing 28th Night, and am in the process of formatting the fanfiction.net version, since their document manager lets us do that work ahead of time. Barring technical problems, I expect to post 28th Night both there and here on Saturday morning, after which I can put on my R&R hat. Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Sing me your song, O! Another new chapter already? Seriously? I just finished reading the last one! Well, it's a nice problem to have. I have half-finished comment on Zac's blog which I'm going to finish before I read Chapter 14 ... which will undoubtedly shoot down all my theories regarding potential returnees. Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Sing me your song, O! A wandering minstrel, I-- 01:27, July 28, 2017 (UTC)
DISASTER: I just hit the Reply button on that long, detailed comment for Zac's blog, and the software choked. Something about a login problem ... which means all that commentary has vanished into the e-ther. I'll reconstruct it as best I can, but I'm afraid you'll have to wait a bit. Can you check out my story, Total Drama Nature, so far. I don't know if it's any good. I know you write awesome stories so I would be really thankful if you could. <signature needed>
It took me all evening and into the small hours, but on your blog post I left a comment with theme song suggestions for almost half the TDG cast. Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Sing me your song, O! A wandering minstrel, I-- 07:56, July 31, 2017 (UTC)
I am going to try yet again to start rereading TDG Chapter 8, which is the next chapter in the review queue. I was going to do it last week, but then I got distracted researching theme song ideas for your characters ... Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Sing me your song, O! A wandering minstrel, I-- 00:37, August 8, 2017 (UTC)
I figured you'd see it that way. But yeah, I need to get this done sooner than later, because my schedule is only going to get busier. In the second half of August I have a friend's wedding on the 19th, a day trip to Wyoming to see the eclipse on the 21st, and a high school reunion the following weekend. Then, my sports photography resumes after Labor Day. Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Sing me your song, O! A wandering minstrel, I-- 05:55, August 8, 2017 (UTC)
Thank you so much for your feedback on Total Drama Nature! It's really helpful and I will imprrove on it. The next chapter is really surprising, i can't wait to post it! Talk with you later!
Well, that was a pleasant surprise to find in my Inbox. I was starting to worry that you wouldn't show this holiday season, since you've done that before. That's as may be, now I definitely have to finish 30th Night by New Year's Day, so you can see it before your studies pull you away again. I'll also do my level best to get at least one more TDG review up before you go. Like you, I'm current with my reading (except for the latest chapter, of course) but a few chapters behind with my reviewing. As I recall, you haven't responded to my TDG Chapter 8 review because I wasn't able to get it posted before you disappeared after the school year started. At all events, it's good to have you back, however briefly. Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Sing me your song, O! A wandering minstrel, I-- 09:22, December 28, 2017 (UTC)
I've said several times over the years that I would love to have someone do a character ranking for LTDI because such rankings amount to long, in-depth reviews that tend to focus on different aspects of the story than regular reviews do. (Regular reviews tend to focus on the plot unless there are serious characterization problems such as Sue-ness, OOC-ness, etc.) Even if the wiki weren't a virtual ghost town, though, I've always understood that the biggest reason people don't do rankings for stories featuring canon casts is that it's so hard to separate one's views of the fanfic versions from those of their canon counterparts, so any such ranking would tend to track rankings for the original show. (There are exceptions, of course. The most extreme case is the reviewer who named Courtney one of their least liked characters in canon but one of their favorites in LTDI.) Of course, you've made it pretty clear that you would put Sadie at or near the top of an LTDI ranking, whereas I'm guessing she wouldn't be that high in a ranking of the original show.
If I were ever to do a character ranking for a canon cast in a fanfic, I would probably focus on (a) how well the author keeps the characters in character; and (b) how well done any changes are. That said, I will probably never do a full ranking of any cast, canon or otherwise, because I generally can't get past a Top 5 and Bottom 5 at best. I'm hopeless when it comes to sorting the big mushy middle.
Your proposed blog concerning the Storyteller's identity sound interesting, although to make for much of a blog post, you would probably have to get pretty thorough--which I'm sure you would. My experience is that your theories tend to be interesting and pretty well reasoned even when they're totally wrong.
As you will probably know by the time you read this, I have finally updated LTDI's elimination table. I had gotten a bit behind, mainly because I couldn't decide how I wanted to handle the returners. I designed LTDI's table to convey as much information as possible at a glance, as I've mentioned before, but returners tend to mess up a grid no matter what you do. There are a couple of common techniques, but I ultimately decided to do something different. Please let me know what you think.
Speaking of eliminations, I was rather amused at reader reactions to the latest one. Every reviewer said they didn't see it coming, and you're not the only one who found it shocking, but it wasn't necessarily meant to be a big surprise. Trivia tidbit: the ceremony and sendoff scenes had been finished for years.
Lastly, one item that has nothing to do with LTDI. Back in September, I sent you what I have so far for "The Last Night" because you expressed interest. Granting that what I have written so far is little more than setup, how did you like it? Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Sing me your song, O! A wandering minstrel, I-- 06:57, December 30, 2017 (UTC)
Before I get into your recent comments, I have an error to report: The video on Easton's page had the caption for Pascal's video, so I fixed it. Pascal's video has the correct caption. Speaking of TDG, I have read the latest chapter, but I still want to review the chapters in sequence. For now, suffice to say that Cynthia's mother provided a lot of insight on why Cynthia accepted Melissa so readily. People are programmed to seek the familiar.
I saw your comments on The Last Night. I wasn't really expecting such detailed feedback, considering that I haven't gotten into the, ahem, meat of the story yet, but I should have known better and I'm glad to have it. I'm glad you liked it. I will respond in more detail under separate cover.
Concerning elimination tables, the blue and dark red boxes on TDG's table are very hard to read unless I highlight them, and a couple of the other colors are none too easy, either. You might want to use white font with those dark backgrounds, like I do with LTDI's table.
Speaking of LTDI, and specifically concerning your theories on Brett's parentage, there's something you should know. Although the paternity poll on LTDI's talk page included an option--the most popular option, as it turned out--for someone not connected to the show, that was really just for the sake of completeness. I don't think it's giving away too much to tell you that Brett will be conceived either on the island or at the Playa. I have also previously stated that LTDI will include my take on the million-dollar challenge (canon TDDDDI) as well as a reunion chapter. Make of that what you will. Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Sing me your song, O! A wandering minstrel, I-- 08:32, January 2, 2018 (UTC)
I'm not sure what option you forgot concerning Brett's mother. The prologue made it pretty clear that she was a contestant who did "pretty well", whatever that phrase means to her. It's Brett's (whereabouts unknown) father who might not be a contestant. (If it's an intern, then yeah, there's a good chance he's dead.) By the by, I misspoke in my last message: I should have said Brett was conceived either at the Playa or on AN island, not necessarily THE island, because when you think about it, Camp Wawanakwa's island isn't the only logical possibility. For example, that treehouse on Castaway Island might make a nice love nest for someone...
On a related note, yes, the Playa and the TDDDDI and reunion chapters do broaden the range of viable theories, but I reminded you of them so you wouldn't discard plausible possibilities in undue haste. There are other details I may decide to tell you at some point--privately, by e-mail--but not before you make your blog post. I want to hear your uncorrupted theories first. Speaking of which, if you find your parentage theories blog too short for your liking, those theories would provide a logical segue to a larger topic I know is dear to your heart, namely your LTDI ships. With all the ship teasing I've done, the LTDI fleet is probably even bigger than TDG's, which is saying something. Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Sing me your song, O! A wandering minstrel, I-- 07:55, January 5, 2018 (UTC)
I did indeed read your blog post when you posted it, or at least the next day. I will be commenting on it properly, but as you surmised, the new chapter was the priority. I still have to update LTDI's talk page with polls for the new chapter (not that anyone but you and Jay answer them anymore) but when that's done, I can turn my attention to addressing your theories. I noticed a few factors you didn't appear to address, both pluses and minuses to one theory or another. Oh, and I'm sure you noticed the ship fuel scenes in 30th Night, which may be relevant to some of your theories. After I finish the blog commentary, next on my agenda is responding to the 24th Night reviews. On a related note, I wanted to be realistic in scheduling 31st Night; and realistically, I'm not likely to get much done whilst the Olympics are on.
You have probably noticed by now that I made some edits to TDG's TV Tropes pages. I haven't updated LTDI's tropes pages for several chapters, and the main page backlog is well over 100 tropes.
Even if you can't write as much as you'd like going forward, whether chapters or reviews, reading takes much less time. Good luck at college, and I hope to hear from you before summer. Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Sing me your song, O! A wandering minstrel, I-- 05:33, January 14, 2018 (UTC)
I've finally finished the latest TDG chapter. (I read the pre-challenge scenes shortly after you updated, but the rest was delayed for various reasons.) I'll review it fully in due course, but suffice to say for now that it looks like the strategizing/backstabbing has (ahem) revved into high gear.
I did notice two technical problems: First, you started out saying the challenge winner would get a cash prize of five hundred dollars, but you changed it to five thousand partway through and without explanation. Second, you're not consistent on how fully Lita's girls are displayed after she gives Ignacio her shirt. She tells Iggy she's wearing a bra, but the later description of her as "topless" implies she's not--especially in light of Vance's reaction and the fact that Lita's shown off her girls before. "Topless" implies completely bare-breasted, whereas "half-dressed" implies a bra but nothing over it.
I made some corrections on TDG's Characters page over on TV Tropes. Most notably, I had to change all of Jasper's incorrect names back to the correct one because one of TV Tropes' rules is that examples should be written for people who aren't familiar with the work. Such people would likely think the incorrect names refer to different characters, so the "even the narrator gets his name wrong" joke doesn't really work there. Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Sing me your song, O! A wandering minstrel, I-- 06:24, January 29, 2018 (UTC)
With a grand prize of $2M, either $500 or $5,000 would be a reasonable prize for winning the challenge. Personally, I would suggest $500 because it's a bonus on top of the normal spoils of victory, to wit the master suite and the priceless invincibility, but even $5,000 may amount to little more than a shopping spree at the local mall (which Kalino supposedly can't go back to, so it's just as well he didn't win). As for Jango Fett, er, Jasper, I noticed that people mostly got his name right in the last chapter, presumably because he was mentioned often enough that keeping up the gag could have felt like working the gag to death, especially given the likely need to reuse misnames. Speaking of which, I caught your use of "Javert", which was one of two misnames you promised to "steal" when I mentioned them in a comment to one of your blog posts. On a related note, someone seriously needs to call Jasper "Jack of Hearts" at some point.
Concerning Lita's state of undress, it's probably for the best to keep her in her bra. The problem with having her let it all hang out in that situation is that there's no clear reason why she would. A girl as well-endowed as she is will probably wear a bra with most of her outfits for the sake of practicality.
Curious that TDG and LTDI are (for now) nominally at the same stage of completion. I don't expect that will be the case for long, because TDG has the standard one chapter per episode, and LTDI averages about 3/2. Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Sing me your song, O! Hey Rhonda, I was just wondering if there was going to be a Xidorn userbox. I know it's a bit late given the most recent chapter (which I just happened to catch just when you posted it) but I'd still like to display one on my userpage all the same. Also I'm graduating from college soon, so I'm going to go back and retroactively review all the stories I've been reading, and that includes LTDI and TDG! But yeah if there's a Xidorn UB I'll totally display it on my user page, if not I'd totally love to have one! Thanks, I hope to talk to you and everyone else more soon! Hey. This is the new account from former user CrystalNeonSummerSnow. I'm sorry if it's silly of me to ask, but I'm wanting everything pertaining to my former account deleted (fics, user page, blog, etc). I deleted my fics and profile, but that's about it since I'm not an admin. Is it possible to delete everything? Let me know. Thank you. Bones-are-blue (talk) 00:16, June 13, 2018 (UTC)
Hey Rhonda! So I just finished reading/reviewing chapter 1 of Genesis and I did something for ya. I wrote up an entire document outling all the spelling/grammar/miscellaneous errors I found. Would you like me to send you the document over email or upload it to google docs so you could see it and fix them? I could also fix them myself if you'd like, just let me know! Anyways my reviews up and spoilers I liked it XD Space was here some time ago and he wrote stuff. 18:27, June 22, 2018 (UTC)
Ok awesome I’ll just email them to you, I just need your email address. You could either leave it on my talk page or you could pm it to me on chat the next time we’re both on. Either one works just whatever you’re comfortable with! Space was here some time ago and he wrote stuff. 16:06, June 25, 2018 (UTC)

Hi Rhonda! Just wanted to thank you for inspiring me to get back to commenting on Gid's Legend of TDI story. I wasn't trying to get my comment before yours or anything, so keep writing Genesis, and I hope you keep commenting on Gid's LTDI, too! I'm glad that you both have such a good friendship, and I love your writing. Merry Christmas and/or Happy Hanukkah and I hope you have a lovely Winter Solstice!!! I see you have a new TDG chapter up. Look for LTDI's long-overdue 32nd Night in a few days. Over on Fanfiction.net, LTDI just reached the front page (i.e. Top 25) of the all-ratings Favorites listing, with 194 Favorites. (It's been front page on the default K-T ratings listing for some time.) Whether LTDI will remain on the front page is anyone's guess, because "Top N" thresholds are moving targets. I hope this message finds you well. Gideoncrawle I have a song to sing, O! Sing me your song, O! A wandering minstrel, I-- 05:53, October 15, 2019 (UTC)
Hey Rhonda, I know it's been awhile (like way way too long). Just dropping in to say congrats on finishing Genesis! I'm really proud of you for not giving up and seeing it to it's natural conclusion! I for my part have been following along in the shadows and reading when I've found free time, and really loved it. For a long time this was the only story (aside from maybe LTDI) that kept me coming back to the wiki. I want to eventually give my feedback on the story as a whole in one big ol blog or something, but until then just know that I was super into it and that I'm very much looking forward to the sequel! I also would like it if you added either my fourth or fifth season to the Recently Started Series seen on Recent Wiki Activity, i prefer the fifth one but the fourth one started more recently.
